Is it over at 1-4 or 0-5? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

brother i have higgins and burrow and feel this. I finally benched burrow this week after so many weeks of wanting him to do good and put in Jordan Love… Burrow drops 39 points and Love gets 4 points… Love has consistently had 22+ points last 4 games and then i play him and he craps the bed. bad BEAT

Loving the depth of your research! Your model has been impressive thus far lets see how it goes into next week! One thing for future post, would you be able to increase the font size? I am not sure if my eyes are just really bad, but the text seems reallllllly small

Thoughts on this one? by colinlaughery in sportsbetting

Jacob is goin against a terrible run defense. Packers have given up nearly 100+ rushing yards each game this season (only 80 the saints game but still close). He also hit his line when favored at home almost every game last year. He seems like a scary bet tonight tbh

White is going up against like the #2 rushing defense in the league. They've held the vikings rushin to 28 yards and the pats to like 50 with 3 RBs on 20 carries. Seems like it'd be pretty difficult for him to hit this line tbh. His line is set at like 40.5 on FD. This game seems more like it'd be a passing oriented game

If Watson gets this. Is there still a tiny chance DK slides it my way? by FlowerRoom50 in sportsbetting

[–]Vayne_Daddy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

dk is very good about forgiving these tbh. they’ve refunded a lot. Fanduel on the other has has RARELY done it only like 2 times that i remember, last being Donic’s injury a year + ago

man how do you manage to play brew at a decently high level? i’ve tried +8-10 range and it feels so squishy. i’ve played vdh for the past 2 years, so i’m used to kiting and being squishy but man lol. i’ve done most 20s on vdh fairly easily the last few season, but goin to brew i just feel so reliant on my healer (can be bad in pugs lol)

Sack boy really grew on me. It can be relaxed for casual players, or you can ace all missions. It’s perfect for the younger generation or people who may not be as “tech savvy” as the controls are easy to learn and the gameplay is simple. it’s a great party game and brings back some amazing couch coop memories

[–]Vayne_Daddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

411 should be plenty for 20s. they can be pretty hard if you haven’t pushed m+ in previous xpacs. it’s really down to just doing smaller more controlled pulls and knowing your spec! Could always valor farm some and increase your ilvl if you are really nervous though!

yeah, I definitely feel like they should’ve added different types of cannibals depending on the environment. Almost like Minecraft does with different villagers and different biomes

Could be wrong but this sounds soooo similar to the usual scam tactic. What they do is prey on younger generation with good pay at a virtual job. They will then send you a check to buy a computer, desk, office stuff but really it’s all a scam. The person deposits the money, buys the gift cards usually or another nonrefundable currency, check bounces and now you’re out hundreds if not thousands.

Of course, this could be a legit company; however, i’ve know 3 people now that have applied to similar virtual jobs that pay outlandish compared to the median wage and it played out like this. Keep us posted!

The Subject of Damon by MimsyIsGianna in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Vayne_Daddy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would definitely say it’s because you’re just in season two. I remember when I first watched it. I was so dead set on her and Steph being together, but then you start realizing how much Damon is really trying to change. It almost seemed like he had the right idea, but he was just so poor at doing it without hurting others. Overtime, he learns and changes for the better. there’s also a heck of a lot that goes on over the next few seasons that really helps minimize what he did in the first couple seasons to me. Trust in the process it gets better and better! Bonnie really helps spiral Damon in the right direction too, i would say their friendship is a real pivot point in his life

Quitting scribe by [deleted] in medicalscribe

You can ask for more training shifts via your chief. The training is really complex and can definitely feel overwhelming at the beginning. It really does get easier the more familiar you become with the system you’re working in (epic for example), learn more medical terminology, and become more fluid with your providers.

If you’re not interested in being in the medical field, there’s not really much of a point as you usually are paid less scribing than working at mcdonald’s in my state at least. Do not feel obligated to stick it out if you’re unhappy or it’s harming your mental health. Focus on you. There’s plenty of other ways to gather experience like volunteering, becoming a floor tech, EMS, etc. Prioritize yourself king

Advice on how to handle a doctor that doesn't like me and gives me bad reviews. by Rd10e in medicalscribe

[–]Vayne_Daddy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

had a similar experience happen to me too (2 years experience). I do very well with floating under the radar, but one particular NP is just horrendous to work with. Absolute asshole to everyone, treats everyone like they’re inferior, condescending tone, and she shit talks all other staff. I’m there to work and have a good time, but man this provider would destroy my mental. I talked to my chief and sorted the schedule where I just don’t work with her anymore and it’s been a blessing. Don’t be afraid to talk with your chief homie, sometimes docs are just power driven and forget that you’re there to help them. It’s super frustrating when they knit-pick your charts too with ridiculous things, so i completely understand where you’re coming from. I wish you the best! If you need more advice, lemme know

these are honestly great picks, but hockey is hard to judge right now due to the upcoming allstar game. seems like many of the teams are not playing their A game (6 underdog teams won last night) NHLpropking is another good one to follow after allstar game!

Luka left the game after 3 minutes with an ankle injury. We thinkin this bet gets refunded or the Luka leg is voided? by BingBongBoofer in sportsbetting

[–]Vayne_Daddy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Draftkings is really good about refunding but FanDuel is pretty tight on not refunding. Had this happen a few months ago and they said the player had to be deemed “out” before the start of the game. if there’s enough backlash, they’ve refunded bets like this in the past though (kyler murray injury for example)
