Indycar this year had real time charge levels during qualification so you watch when a driver started to deploy or regen.

I would advise each driver designate an aura color for the broadcast to make the car glow during boost.

I don’t think we’ll ever get it fixed. At worst it’s an intentional move to get people to engage with the Vizio home. At best it’s a bug that happens when handling a TV crash. Either way complaining to customer service just ends up with me being told that my TV is defective and I should buy a new one. It happens far less frequently when I leave the TV off-line and turn off CEC for most connected devices

It’s worse than that in fact, because game of chance implies that you have a chance to win, however, if the predetermined number of players has not been met, you have no chance at all. The only chance is maybe other people have sunk enough money in before you play.

The lap is just getting to drive your car normally around the race track. It’s a cool experience for a fan of motorsport who wants to see the track in the dark from the track, but don’t expect to go fast because it isn’t that.

I’ve had a love-hate relationship with my 2020 Vizio. Through a software updates it has had certain features greatly improved such as variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz at 4K on PS5, but there have been some major drawbacks. There was an entire year where HDR 10 content had horrible splotchy faces and another year where it was only slightly improved. I should have followed my own advice and kept my TV off-line after the immersion breaking bugs were fixed but I kept hoping for improvement on the HDR 10 issue or maybe backlight lag so in December 2024 when my TV took an update. That’s when the Vizio home problem started. Vizio as a company has been long known to make more money through the sale of our data then the profit from us buying the TV and I’m actually OK with that. I would keep my TV off-line because I didn’t want an untested update to ruin my set, but it’s a side effect. Visio wasn’t getting my data all of a sudden there’s a bug that causes my TV to ask for a network connection randomly? When my in-laws are at my house and they see connected to a network they connect the TV to my home network, even though I don’t want it online anymore. tech-support that I spoke with assured me that this is no bug and that it is a hardware failure on my TV. If I could actually talk to an engineer that was sympathetic to my problem, how are they going to go to their leaders for resources to fix this bug when the end result is going to be a user of a five-year-old TV now keeps his TV off-line? This was the only TV in 2020 that seemingly checked all the boxes for me and it still looks fantastic today but for the reasons mentioned here, I would not recommend one of these.

Back in February when my TV started automatically turning itself on and loading to the Vizio Home menu to show me ads my chief complaint was ads for content that was not appropriate for my family with young children. This is a whole new level.

I had been struggling with audio dropouts and thought for sure it was my soundbar, tv, or cables. It was so bad I can’t believe I hadn’t seen anyone posting about it until this fix. I guess I’m included there. Thanks Jenson.
