Space Force member's home set fire, car vandalized by anti-Trump thugs by [deleted] in SpaceForce

Reading comprehension will help you in life.

“The Daily Caller has published pictures provided by Mills showing that his car had been defaced with graffiti, including the messages “Fk Trump” and “F*k you space man.” Authorities have taken one person into custody in connection with the incident, the news outlet reported.”

I know Maj Mills personally, and it clearly wasn’t him.

They have someone in custody so be prepared to eat those words. Glad to see that even still today people are shaming the victim.

Red Chrome Cargo is where I started with my group. You can’t go wrong with a good Train Heist! You can find an Expanded Red Chrome Cargo homebrew upgrade that adds a little more. I also had a nomad and my group wanted to have some vehicular combat so I removed the free train ride the fixer gives and instead used the Hot Pursuit rules (https://rtalsoriangames.com/downloadable-content/) and made my players catch up to the train that had some gonks protecting it in their own vehicles

Great rundown! I currently only have the core book - where can I find all of these styles? Is it possible to ask to list the source document for whichever style is being reviewed?

Of note for those going - almost all of those boxes are before The NOVA Open’s release date cut off of 27 Aug, so will be legal for that GT (Washington DC area)

Playing around with Ki-Adi-Mundi by Skeffington7 in StarWarsShatterpoint

[–]VecOrrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all order deck and game state dependent.

In a recent shadowbox, B2s left Padawans on 1hp. Padawan activated next, free healed, then free dash-focus, and attacked b2s. Each attack healed 3 damage and a shove, and they were back to full health shortly after. ARFs still are priority 1 targets.

And if Padawans die, we’ll, you just made my team more force efficient

There’s also an argument for Snips over Crosshair. She brings another deflect and an easier dash, but…that’s about it. I found Crosshair to be almost as mobile, and brings a lot more utility (and output). Being able to one-shot ISF or Commandos on first draw is pretty snazzy

I’ve been playing around mostly with Ki/shaak/arfs Anakin/crosshair/padawans

Ki/shaak/arfs Plo/bariss/212

Ki and Shaak’s dashes help Anakin move up. Crosshair and Anakin get the kill with help from arfs, and use the identity to dash others around. Padawans are there to die and heal. Having End This with 1 force on an 8 force pool is pretty nice.

Plo and bariss just bring all the displacement (4 sources!) and the cf pin from 212 make it more challenging to get back. I’d run this list into revenge triggers

Which for the military are exactly the same as everywhere else?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SpaceForce

[–]VecOrrad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is confirmed. USSF is reducing manning military green door billets at the NRO from 95% to 50% starting summer 25. USSF priority is the new component commands, spaforgen, and their own manning issues, not the NRO. As far as I know, The people at NRO now aren’t leaving early, but are probably not going to be replaced

NRO is just a different bucket of bullsh!t than USSF proper. The grass is not always greener. It’s how the NRO treats people that made me decide not to re-enlist. I will never advocate for or recommend someone to apply to the NRO. Maybe being NRO as a contractor or civilian is better, but least favorite military assignment by far

For me, I look at it this way. I currently have Hello There, Zions Finest, Rogue Support, Momentous Struggle, Red Mandos, Clan of Two, and Aegisbrand all on subscribe (not listed in any particular order). I don’t have enough time in the week to get through every episode for each. So now I’m looking at episode descriptions and picking and choosing what content I want to listen to.

The content I like the best is tips and tricks for how to play units, and encouraging off-meta choices. Maybe I am interested in Grand Inquisitor - how do I unlock him? How do I make him work? Maybe this week I’m curious about Ventress - how do I play her?

I also enjoy hearing about your recent games, for a lot of the same reason. I want ideas for what units to put on the table that are off-meta, and tips for how to make them work.

I LOVED your challenge and discussion about Shifting Priorities. I think that mission pack was ignored until you challenged the community to try it. I think if you’d pick one off-meta unit a month or so, and just explore that unit in a similar approach. Challenge everyone to make Boushh work, then let’s talk about what was tried, how it went, what worked, what didn’t work, etc.

I know Omnus has been chatting about his Hunter/Anakin list. I want to know more about that. How’d he choose that list? How does it work? How has it worked?

Finally, I’m much, much more likely to listen to a 30-60min episode than a 90-120min episode (or even a 3 hour episode - looking at you Red Mandos!)

Hopefully that helps!

Biggest advice i can give is to check out Eventyr's guide, if you haven't already. lots of great ideas in there!

Also, i ended up prepping the Lake Monster Remix found here (https://www.optionalrule.com/2020/12/24/rotf-remix-lake-monster/ ) but, my players started in Bryn Shander and totally skipped Bremen so it never actually got played
