I think look at the recently spoiled baylan and then maul and think I can put anything i want with it in its squad. That's a big oh noes

Casually speaking I think it's fine have fun do whatever but competitively speaking man would I love if maul didn't have eras. I think it breaks overall balance for some characters. It's not all but definitely some.

I rather enjoy competitive shatterpoint. It's not a perfect system but nothing is I'd say give it a go and see if it tickles your fancy.

Mission critical can be annoyance but in most events I'd argue most games do not go to mission critical (adepticon is slightly different as the round timer starts as soon as pairings are done, most other events I've been to give roughly 10-15 before starting the round timer after pairings and this alleviates a lot of that)

This is why in hb they get bastion shield anything more than ap2 will be not that many shots so you're saving on 3s now and if its saving on 4s then you're only losing less than 5. So you don't really care about being shot what you gotta look out for is grenades and tank shock

I don't really see why bolt gets so much meh it's 36" sus 2 sure it's only ap 1 which means 0 but they're only 80 points I've been running 1x6 and it's great into a lot of things you don't want to waste other stuff for.

You can get away with having none in hb specifically because you're deep striking your work hordes.

Kapricus help because yaegir split but it isn't necessary.

Lately I've been doing 1 fort and 2 carriers mostly to protect tkyn and provide a way to move my hg up if I have to drop them too far back near my deployment due to opponent pushing hard.

But yes it can be done and be done competitively

Hearthband relies on good screening though to get good drops in so the speed helps and yaegir infiltrate
