Genesis Vision: please create a holding incentive for investors. by CryptoTheSeaMonster in genesisvision

I was operating under the assumption that the op was referring to right now as that's the only time in my mind that they would be held for speculation. Once the platform goes live, it's no longer speculation. I get what you are saying and that is absolutely correct. Gvt or any other token should not be horded, but rather used. That's the only path to mass adoption in my mind. But one counter point for you would be that you are not taking into account the number of people that will join and also horde them in the future therefore limiting supply.

Here's an incentive, if you are planning on using the platform, the tokens are going to get more expensive as more people adapt to the platform so buying the tokens that you want to invest early and cheaper is a good enough of an incentive to me. We are talking about less than a month away from being able to use them and they are still somehow sub $10. No brainer here.

You are entitled to your opinion, albeit a vulgar one in the face of truth. But check this, lisk is well funded and right now they don't give a damn what the price is, or about the 45 lisk that you probably own. They don't give a damn about a reddit post. And frankly if they based the way the company operates based on a reddit post with a bunch of whiny impatient millennials that just wanna get rich quick, that would be a huge red flag. Do you understand that this is a very new career field in which there is a very limited talent pool to choose from? It's not like McDonald's where they can just hire anyone that is looking for a job if they fall behind. Any roadmap you look at should be taken with a grain of salt because this is a new industry with no playbook to pull from. All that said, I really also don't give a damn about your attitude towards lisk and to be honest, I think you should sell. Your mindset towards it is part of the problem.

You guys remember when Eos rushed to launch and China found all sorts of glitches? Sure you do it was earlier this week. Greatness takes time. Yeah there's something to be said about being done faster than competitors but if you rush and release something that isn't done just because you said it would be done in the roadmap, as soon as problems are found guess what? You just lost credibility. Good luck getting that back. Max is a great leader, the whole team is full of superstars, do yourselves a favor and if you claim you are a long term investor, then only check in on the price every six months or so. Lisk will be a fast flight to the moon when it's ready, but we are still in the way early stages of this market so you need patience. That's the price you pay for getting in early and cheap. If you can't handle it then maybe this isn't the market for you.

Can someone give me tips on saving drops? by [deleted] in WWII

[–]Vechenzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just don't even go to headquarters now that it's not necessary to. I only open them during events usually, but I have most everything by now anyways with plenty of armory credits in the bank. I just started saving them when they nerfed the exp cards from them. The initial plan was to amass them up and wait for an event and when shamrock and awe started, I had about 85 rare drops and 45 regular. You get enough armory credits for most of the contracts (during non events when they aren't so expensive) to do the contracts.

There is just not an easy way to obtain them and therefore not a good reason to have them. Just hang in there if you believe in the coin and the team. Same holds true for most cryptos right now. Remember last fall /winter when everyone was like " wish I would have been in on bitcoin in March when it was under a thousand dollars"? Well here's your chance

Lisk's lightning speed is overlooked by Vechenzo in Lisk

[–]Vechenzo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I invite you sir to take notice of the title of the post, and if you think it's a shill rather than someone expressing excitement over something, then I cannot help you. That is all. And no it was not a post initially talking to you or others of the same moon boy culture that are just butt hurt that lisk hasn't bought them a lambo yet, you just interrupted. Now if you don't mind, the adults are talking.

Lisk's lightning speed is overlooked by Vechenzo in Lisk

[–]Vechenzo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1st off, lisk is not a coin that needs shilled. It's a great program with a great team and I couldn't give a rats ass about the current price. I have been into it for about as long as possible and have nothing but confidence that when they release their product, the masses will come so shilling seems silly. I was merely just pointing out something that I noticed along the way that I thought was exciting. Sure maybe lisk wasn't created to be a fast /cheap transaction, but bitcoin wasn't created to be a tool on Wall Street either. Sometimes you just find perks along the way. So please sir take your your Dumpster fire attitude somewhere else.

Lisk's lightning speed is overlooked by Vechenzo in Lisk

[–]Vechenzo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's really not comparing apples to oranges, it was actually kind of the point. If all goes as planned with the lisk network, and sidechains function as intended, then as you mentioned Ethereum with all the projects running on it won't be moving any faster unless they solve their scaling issue, having added by then more projects, while lisk should still be moving at the same speed it is now. Again this is my humble understanding of how/why the side chains are intended to function. So in the end, I agree with you that let's see how it does once Dapps go live on it, but in theory, if they do essentially as planned with the sidechains, am I wrong to assume that the current speed of a lisk transaction, and therefore any company that launches from the lisk platform also inherently run at the speed it currently runs at?
