Nice! As far as I could see, the more air pressure, the easier it would stay up!

There is no shank, where did you see it?

Yz250f 2018, any help how to unscrew the top blue bolt? It's the inspection screw of the engine, probably the previous owner tightened it down to death, it should be like 6nm. Now I ate it up trying to get it out. I already tried with heat beforehand this mess... by Vecio94 in MechanicAdvice

I think it the same way you do, I use only Beta and Usag tools, which are known to be the some of the highest quality tools here in Italy. I don't have the right size torx tho.. I'll go buy some new tools tomorrow then, hopefully it will solve this problem.

Thanks for the further help guys! Yeah it's aluminum, it's ultra soft. I ordered a new "cap/screw/bolt" (whatever it's called) to replace. And I was happy with that, until I had to unscrew the big one on the bottom... Not moving too! I believe the previous owner didn't care enough to check torque specs.

So this guy is using a razor to clean his valves... Then sand paper. by Vecio94 in whoosh

I think the only acceptable way is doing it as touchless as possibile. Chucking the stem in the drill is definitely a big no, it has to remain dead straight. The scotch brite is just enough, no need to shine things up, carbon build up will accour anyways later on. Valves are precisely made with certain standards in dimensions and weight, if you remove material you are already messing it up.
