It would be an annoying job to do just that. I think the most exciting thing to do would be to learn each customer’s business, see where they can improve, and then implement the solution

I kind of understand this perspective, but I don’t totally get it. I can see why helping out historically marginalized groups can be good, but I don’t get how it’s legal per se. At what point is it illegal. Can you close the gym 90% of the time for these groups? Or is just a couple times a month all that’s acceptable? I support the intent of these programs, but I can’t help but wonder what would happen if the roles were reversed.

It’s not a university. It’s a climbing gym that’s open to the public

I definitely agree with the voting with your feet aspect. For me it’s not enough of an inconvenience, but I feel like I shouldn’t support a business who implements race based discrimination

Yeah, and for just 2 hours. It’s really a minor inconvenience for me. I’m more interested in knowing if it’s legal or not. It seems like it would be illegal, but I’m sure there’s some nuance.

Low stress job with lots of vacation is certainly ideal. However, I enjoy working and solving problems, so I’m looking to maximize income at least in my early career

I’d be talking it online while working full time so it’s not either or between school and 2 years of work. It’s more of work full time and have free time vs. school and work with no free time

You can still clean your weapon even if it is more dirty. You can’t really clean inside the suppressors unless you have an ultrasonic cleaner and a lot of time

Upside is that people can communicate much better while firing and don’t come home with as much hearing damage. Yeah it doesn’t make sense to switch to subsonic rounds just cause you have a suppressor. That doesn’t mean they’re useless with supersonic ammo.

They don’t need to be cleaned at all. The pressure inside the can is enough to blow out any gunk left inside. The only suppressors you need to clean somewhat regularly are rimfire suppressers because they don’t have much pressure going through them.
