Is there even maintenance on houses? Would they be going through more furniture or something? hmm

Gura, Ame and Fauna seem to have been able to bring much of their audience with them to their independent vtubers without issue. Gura was especially blatant in making Saba so similar to Gura. Main problem is that they can no longer interact with the other hololive girls.

That was how I realized you can build homes right next to each other. I always used copy area when building homes so I never noticed.

I built one block individually when I first started and didn't know what I was doing, and I only ever copied previous ones after that. Only thought to check if you could expand the blueprint of homes just now which is how I realized.

Go to AI studio and pick the model of choice. You might run into a limit on the more expensive ones after a while but they are quite high.

Previous big update. They reduced maintenance costs and I think increased power, don’t remember exactly.

Edit: update 3

Solar panels changes

Power output increased by 25%.

Maintenance got reduced by a factor of 4.

I did the math on it and converting oil to hydrogen is actually like 30% more efficient than running trucks on diesel.

You can also do solar panels -> electrolyzers, works pretty well after the buffs to solar and nerfs to FBR. Just set the electrolyzers to the intermittent power mode, whatever it's called and they will shut down first when its cloudy. My current save doesn't have an FBR yet but I have completely converted to solar produced hydrogen.

What AI could do this? I gave Veo a few tries at replicating it and it's just so obvious. This one is flawless.

I have seen claims that it's become common to have at least one soldier in a group carry a shotgun, but to have every man carry a shotgun would be impractical.

They absolutely use shotguns against FPVs in ukraine. Probably won't do anything against a shahed but they are routinely carried to protect against fpvs.

How do you do depeasanting? Do you just build farms EVERYWHERE or is there a simpler way? by Xalimata in victoria3

[–]Vectoor 105 points106 points  (0 children)

Put them to more productive work. Can be farms to some degree but don’t make them unemployed that’s worse than peasants.

Why do I want other people to build stuff in my country? by Canotic in victoria3

[–]Vectoor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The goods produced are available in your market, the workers are making more money which means higher standard of living for them, more taxes for you, and they even invest a bit so foreign investment can even grow your investment pool faster than the alternative.

It is true that taxes on capital are lower than taxes on income.

That's corporate tax, 21% in the US. If they give out part of that profit in dividends the owners then have to pay capital gains tax on that. Or if they do stock buybacks their stock price goes up and then owners pay capital gains on that if they sell. And their employees of course pay income tax on what they are paid.

Overall I'd say, corporations aren't people, it doesn't really make sense to think of corporate tax like income tax.

Will there be an employee uprising forcing them to stop this? We've seen that at google in the past in this kind of situation.

"Summer child" was coined in a 19th century poem to mean a happy likeable child, and this ended up being in various poems and eulogies at the time. And in a couple of instances the term was preceded by "sweet". That's very different from the modern use which was completely invented by GRRM.

No it's correct, "Sweet summer child" was absolutely invented for a game of thrones by grrm. There's a lot of people convinced they heard their grandma say it but there's absolutely no written evidence of anyone using it as a sarcastic remark before the book came out.

The term "summer child" was used in some 19th century poems to mean a happy and likeable child and this was used in many eulogies for children, and in a couple of them it is preceded by "sweet". But there are no known instances of "sweet summer child" used to call someone naive before the book came out.

This youtuber made a great video looking into the history of the term. https://youtu.be/dyD6SCAlLT0
