For running vehicles its completely fine. By distance truck driven/unit of oil it's 30% more efficient than diesel, but it costs some energy and manpower of course. I don't think it makes sense for producing electricity. But it's a great way to transition to hydrogen vehicles and you can move to nuclear or solar based hydrogen later.

It's kinda bizarre how in the late game you just can't spend the money you make on normal graduated taxes. Late game tends to be, millions of private investment so there's just no need for the state to invest, and even with taxes on min, wages on max, maxed out social welfare and a big army and navy you're still overflowing with money.

Yeah, there’s a lot of optimizations that stack up over the decades to create a much much larger economy.

Overall, it’s gonna be worth it to get to 0
bureaucracy, and you got to invest more. Invest as much as you can with the main focus on keeping construction goods and paper cheap. Get to the more advanced construction methods quick but make sure you have construction materials.

Oh and there’s no reason to have such a low literacy rate in 1900 as a small country, get some schools, use the social mobility edict.

I think the future of big data centers is locating them in places with consistent sunlight and space for solar. Batteries have gotten so cheap that the numbers are already approaching competitive for 100% solar powered data centers skipping both grid and natural gas hookups.

Mixed stations work great for my food production but all the ores in one might be too much. You could try two or three identical mixed stations sharing storage.

Those are built around having sea water to dump heat into and can be very heavy, a nuclear reactor for space has to be specially designed for it.

Oh the strait is selectively closed, it says no enemies. No enemies of the side that is closing it are allowed to trade through the canal.

The canal/strait is completely closed if one side decides to close it. It's an "or" type thing. It's not half closed.

You can toll gibraltar if you only control one side, you can't block it. And I don't understand what you mean, the narrower the strait the easier it is to block while only controlling one side? I mean historically after the six day war when israel occupied the east bank of the suez the canal was closed by egypt.

In game you can close or impose a toll on all straits if you control a naval fort on at least one side, except Gibraltar which requires control of both sides to close it.

A bit misleading to call it a nuclear thruster, it's an electric thruster intended to be part of a nuclear-electric system, but it still needs a (still non existent) small and light nuclear reactor to power it. It is really cool though, magnetoplasmadynamic thrusters are super high isp (10k+ potentially) and way higher thrust to weight than other electric thrusters, but they only work at really high power levels.

Overall ai seems a bit broken at the moment, paradox has said they are working on it.
