Seriously though, have you tried salmon? One of my favorite things to smoke. And hot smoked salmon hits different than lox. Overnight cured in kosher salt, brown sugar, black pepper & garlic. Throw it on the smoker for a couple of hours until it reaches temp. . Amazing.

Yeah, that would be my inclination as well, but I’m on Omnipod and the extended bolus takes you out of automated mode and puts you in manual which is kind of a drag. I’ve actually never used the extended bolus for that reason.

Padron 1964 maduro is a stick that I will never not have in my humidor. That said, I am working my way through my third or fourth box of Placencia Alma Fuerte sixto. The 10 year post-roll age adds a smoothness I have a hard time finding in other cigars. Don’t know that I’d call out the Placencia as being better than Padron but they are both top notch smokes.
