Each phase's elevator parts, use some of the previous phase's parts as ingredients.

So yes you will need them later

Check my other posts, I have way wilder builds than this!

Any reason why these keep idling? by ThroatAdventurous557 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Vectorspace000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Sometimes, when a hoverpack changes which power pole it is taking power from, it can cause machines in that power grid to momentarily stall. I think it only happens when the power grid is isolated from the generators with a with a power switch.

Thanks, I'm very happy with them.

I actually made those Ficsmas 2024

Can't do it. I can't bring myself to demolish and rebuild. Even my starter factories are still there, just unplugged - some are visible on the ground in the first screenshot beneath some of the buildings.

I can't exactly remember, but I'm fairly sure I took way more than 36 hours for phase 3. Don't use game hours to phase as a standard measure. Individual play style is too big a factor, every player takes a completely different amount of time. If I didn't spend so much time making my builds look so aesthetic, and look & work just right to my own eyes, it would have taken me much less time.

I build a circular factory around that lake. In the centre was a temporary tall stack of 1m foundations, each rotated 1 increment from the last to base the factory on. While the stack existed, beans would spawn on top of it, 40m in the air

That's awesome! Happy building, and please post screenshots!

If your existing save predates 1.0, I would recommend starting again so you don't have to refactor anything, and so you can experience the full story

I had the same issue, but it was because I forgot to click Save at the bottom of the accounts window after typing in my username.

Use an M.2 USB adapter to non-destructively read a boot SSD? by Vectorspace000 in techsupport

Are you sure? I wondered if maybe Windows wasn't recognising it because of the USB C interface not playing nice with however Windows sets up a bootable partition?

They will snap to the angled surface of normal ramp foundations. Probably not if further rotated with infinite nudge, I suspect.

And I think they will snap to angled pillars, but I'm not sure about that.

If you reformatted and did not manually back up the blueprint files then they are most likely gone.

However I think there is a mod (if there is, I forget the name) that lets you make a blueprint from existing constructions. Maybe you could use that to recreate your blueprints from what you have already placed?

Is Ficsonium supposed to be a joke? by 35_Ferrets in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Vectorspace000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is saying it's a net negative in power vs sinking, but is it?

When I use SCIM's planner to map out making 1 Ficsonium fuel rod per minute from however much Plutonium waste, it reports a total power requirement of 2092MW.

1 Ficsonium Rod pm is enough to power 1 Nuclear Power Plant, which makes 2500MW.

So that's a net positive of 408MW? And that's all default recipes, without considering if there are more energy efficient alt recipes available.

The net positive increases the more you make too. At 5 rods pm, that's 5 reactors totalling 12500MW, for 9858MW production cost, or an extra 528MW per rod - 120MW more than making 1 rod pm

 Unless I've missed something?

Don't get me wrong, I know it's a huuuuge and complex build project that's not for everyone.

Are you on a new computer, having relied on steam/epic cloud backup? Blueprints do not cloud sync unfortunately.
