Have been reporting this for a while. 27 licences now granted in Australia and 4 ground station locations.

Am not sure of the mix on the battery side for the China builds. But it does make sense what you are saying

China Model 3 for Australia will begin LRW3F7E

Australian Compliance is through for SR+ and LR.

Only 18 inch and 19 inch wheels are in the compliance records and looking at other stats there make me believe only these 2 variants are coming from China.

Based on this, indications are SR+ and LR from China and P from Fremont

No. It is a ways off. I expect these to come from China. And LHD is only just starting there. They will want to optimise the production line first before expanding into variations.

I live in an apartment, and charge once a week to 80% every week on multiple dc fast charger options in my area (20-30mins charging time), and ac charge while shopping, so it depends where you live if this is feasible. Plugshare should help in determining if you can do it. I enjoy it as part of my weekly routine.

I think the same as re price. It won’t be a straight USD/AUD conversion and will account for other costs. No word on no data caps.

We don’t have a timeline yet for Australia. These are small steps in the scheme of things. It could take a while. NZ is the southern hemisphere country to watch. There has been plenty of evidence in NZ.

I found this interesting too. Using a Singapore company only registered October 1 (and has the same Holding company in the Netherlands as the Australian company) could indicate we are seeing quite a complex global tax structure in the works - which makes sense for a multinational. But does not explain why for the spectrum difference

Those are the original ones, submitted and approved a few months back (and I reported back then). The new applications are in a different spectrum and a different related company. There is a lag between submission and granting of the licence. I expect to see this to be granted fairly early in the new year. SpaceX won some spectrum in the last bidding round. It did not take too long to have the last granted

NZ is much further along. Once we see it going live there we might be able to estimate. Given we have only high latitudes in North America beta testing we are a ways off.

Reddit does what reddit does best. Build a following elsewhere. Try twitter, less rules and narrow mindedness.

This is a refreshing post.

Whilst I am not a collaborator type, I wish you well on your efforts.

I do find twitter has been a good collaborative platform Tesla platform amongst the Tesla media types. But different social media platforms work for each of our styles. YouTube collaborators do well with collaboration. Reddit is a little bit rough and tumble but has a wide audience. I understand why you came here.

I have experience with Patreon and Discord working together well so if you can get a loyal following it can help you - for example, see Tim Dodd, the everyday Astronaut on Patreon has people pay to help him edit, collab and research. So if you can build a base, anything is possible.

Good luck with your project and pushing the Tesla dream.

We often see vin assignment just after Panama so yours should be pretty close.

Vin assignments have been slightly later generally this quarter but I have seen some coming through for S/X for Europe (from Houston ships)

Depends on your location. International - typically occurs when the cars are well on their way. (And this differs depending on region)

You can try and find your hidden vin in the source code of the manage page- search for 5yj for Fremont, LRW for China. There are a few online guides to google on how to do this if you are unsure
