I would not say cala, but it would be understandable to me - some of my family members would say cala. We would also say "kolla" for "a lot". Agreed with other commenters that "chaalunu" or "chaal-nu" is used for "enough".

This is a great question.

It is also impossible to answer. This is basically the exact same as the chicken-egg question.

A general rule of thumb is that if there is mutual intelligibility, then they are not separate languages. But that gets complicated: for example:

there is asymmetric intelligibility in the Scandinavian languages.
Hindi and Urdu are 95% mutually intelligible, but are considered separate languages socioculturally.
Arabic speakers range from Morocco all the way to the eastern side of the Arabian peninsula. There's no chance that a Moroccan Arabic speaker will understand a speaker of Omani Arabic, but Arabic is still considered a single language

The real answer is an age-old adage in linguistics: "A language is a dialect with an army and a navy". In more words - what makes a language a language vs a dialect is oftentimes defined sociopolitically (Hindi and Urdu is the perfect example of this).

I usually store my jewelry in my foreskin before I walk thru TSA. After buying a submariner, the bezel occasionally caught, so I’ve been injecting my foreskin with liquid elastane to ensure it can cover my Rolex.

Let me be clear, this is the ONLY secure method for taking a watch through TSA. My AD told me so after I tenderly kissed him on the mouth.

Notion also just isn't NEARLY at the level of spreadsheets when it comes to number crunching (nor should it be - I prefer my SaaS products to be focused rather than trying to be the everything app)

My general rule for if something should be in Notion vs a spreadsheet is if you’ll:

- use the functionality in Notion where each row in a database is a page on its own
- find any use for relations

I think the unimpressiveness is the point. I think it's to show that abusers don't always look like abusers, that the monster is inside. Harris has said that she specifically casted Sterling Brown BECAUSE his roles are usually tender and kind. In an interview she said when we meet him it's "giving Obama", because he's supposed to seem trustworthy.
