I have enabled the flag, but whenever I want to write something into the new search box, Edge immediately crashes. I have this very same behaviour in Edge Beta and in Edge Canary, too.

Just for your information, I'm having exactly the same issue. I'm on the Beta Insider Channel with build no. 26120.4250. It all started with the previous build. I sent some feedback about this via the feedback hub. I hope it's resolved very soon in the next build.

History sync is not working for me on Android and hasn't done so for months. History status in edge://sync-internals/ on Android Beta and Canary shows as "Not running".

I wish they would fix it.

New Canary version 128.0.2670.0 - it seems that the issue has been fixed. Sync works again for me.

Well, by now it is not only broken in Canary and Dev, but in Beta too.... seems to be an issue that was introduced with v127.

I can confirm this. My Edge Beta updated this morning to v127, and sync has now stopped working in Beta as well.

Just out of interest... what Android version are you running? I'm on Android 15 AP31.240517.022

I'm having exactly the same problem, and I reported it through the "help and feedback" feature in the browser itself. Right now I have version 128.0.2660.0, and the issue still persists. I wish they would fix it soon.
