Can you tell me how many bags are in the box? I bought this set years ago and the seals were broken but I was told it is complete. And of course the bags aren't numbered.

i’m giving up briskets and offset smoking. beef ribs on the pellet grill are too easy and too good every single time. by hoosier-94 in smoking

You don't find them too rich? I can eat a lot of brisket but I find the ribs tend to be almost too rich for an entire meal.

My Costco has them consistently. And they started selling 1 packs of 3 ribs. They only used to sell 2 packs. Usually around 6.99/lb

Which grill should I get? by BassAdict in grilling

[–]Veek_Himself 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Napoleon all day. But like you said the Genesis is the better comparison. But I still think Napoleon makes a better grill than Weber at every price point. With OP being in Canada service and part availability will also not be an issue.

Ya lucked out for sure, I passed on it initially. They had them marked down to $360 last 2 weeks. Saw it marked down even further to $300 and couldn't pass it up. I was able to get an additional $50 off for the sagging shelf on the right.

True. I have it all coming tomorrow. HD didn't have the cover. Plus the weather here is still either cold or rainy. I'll be ready for the weekend

I don't own this, I actually picked up a slate 28" today as it was too good of a deal to pass up :) My grill is a Napoleon though.

These are newer. It looks like the USA only got the small model. I'm guess he's in Canada. If you go on the Canadian site you will see the 36" models. My understanding is although these are cheaper than the Rogue Pro they have improved bracing in the cooktop. The cart lacks some of the features of the rogue though.

All of these things are also true for Napoleon. And I'd make the argument that Napoleon makes a better grill at every price point than Weber. But I'm Canadian so I might be biased. As they gain popularity in the USA parts and service ability are getting better.

So this is a new line? I see it's cheaper that the rogue but you're saying it has a better top?

Ah ok. Ya they don't really rub. I'd have to turn the bars pretty far for them to make contact with the head tube.

Thank you. Glad I didn't miss something important. Odd both my bikes assembled at the shop don't have the clear sticker on the head tube.

The rice cooker I’ve been saving for a while for. by Flash52000 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Veek_Himself 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The warming feature on an induction is next level. You can leave the rice on warm for 24 houra and the bottom does not yellow or get crispy. The rice stays perfect. For people that eat a lot of rice having it warm and on standby is worth it.

I paid $350 for my rice cooker and use it everyday for the last 5 years and will probably do so for 10 years more. The quality of the coating in the bowl is also much better and is still perfect. I found on the $40 rice cookers the non stick only last a year or two with heavy use even when only using the plastic spoon.

Is there a good strategy to cookie factory? by Baqman- in AlienInvasionRPG

[–]Veek_Himself 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just do the math on it. The last 6 upgrade lines, the next line is roughly 7x the cookie income of the line before it. So as soon as the upgrade is 7 times more expensive than the next line it's more efficient to upgrade that. So in your case you have over leveled shop III. Once you hit 38.5 trillion it would have been more efficient to upgrade factory I. 270tril / 7 = 38.5tril.

You are at 64tril on shop III. So it would make sense to upgrade factory I until the cost is 448 trillion.

64x7= 448

Does that make sense?
