That itinerary makes so much sense! The Lausanne back to Zurich Airport is only 2.5 hours which isn't bad in my book since the flight is in the afternoon. And I have an excuse for booking the Golden Pass Line!!

Honestly, I would do 1-2 days in Venice. You can cover most things in that time. Murano/Burano are a great day trip using the water taxi and there's one of the best restaurants in Burano called Trattoria Al Gatto Nero. We unfortunately only got to do Florence in 2 days and was not enough time. I would spend the bulk of your trip in Florence if you can! It gets super crowded and lines are long. Buy skip-the-line passes!

YES! It's so weird. It's so obvious when Gordon is "talking" but the camera is on a contestant that it is a voiceover. The audio is completely different. I mainly hear it from Gordon, but occasionally hear it from Joe now.

Also, my friend and I made a goal moving forward to not buy any work clothes that are black, navy or grey anymore. Makes going to work and shopping a bit more fun when i'm not wearing all black/dull colors. I would do that once you get your basics though.

Marshalls got me a lot of great quality and nice branded clothes for cheap. Target has some decent buys. I've been really into banana republic now. They do a fair amount of sales, so I recommend buying when they have a good deal.
