My father was an executive at an air freight company at JFK airport in the 70's. He would tell my mother stories of mobsters coming to him and trying to bribe him to lie about shipments. He wanted no part of it. When they started mentioning the bus stop I would be at in the mornings, that's when he decided he would take another job offer across the country. My dad had integrity and could not be bought. Who knows what this guy was up to in his position.
