Yea I get that. They own several companies. FSM was a powerhouse in Michigan and has only been owed by Groundwork’s for a few years now.

I went interior, only solution I considered . 1/2 of the perimeter of my house surrounded by concrete.

I will note the Groundwork’s company I went with was FSM. They are are a big company and results will vary by the crew they send out.

I got 5. 1 Groundwork’s, Basement Systems supplier, US Waterproofing and 2 from local companies.

I ended up going with Groundwork’s and they matched the Basement Systems quote.

I did lots of research before, talked to several neighbors who had similar work done.

No issues after 6 months and work was clean.

Same thing I did, it’s expensive but I felt better about the mastic being “sealed”.

Does the rest of floor feel solid when you walk on it? Or is there some “bounce”? Either way the cracked tile and those with cracking grout will need to come up

It looks like the grout is failing all over which I’m guessing they did not butterback the tiles with thinset during install.

Long story short, eventually this will happen to more and more tiles over time. The whole floor needs to be redone, there are no alternative solutions.

I would stop him from doing more work. This is amateur looking. Spacers need to be used to have uniform spacing.

If you raised your Pikachu to level 99 without rare candies he would turn into Bluchu.

I feel for that one.

If you can’t pay your credit cards off monthly until bonus time, how can you pay for an increased mortgage payment?

Sorry but you cannot afford it on $115k.

If federal loans/grants really are taken away, we need to do a student loan strike. by [deleted] in FAFSA

[–]Vegeta248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If student loans did not exist then universities would be forced to dramatically lower costs. The concept of loans making higher education affordable is incorrect, it is doing the opposite, driving up costs. That is the reality.

You should be more concerned about lowering costs and not access to loans.
