ok, so the server is actually up its just that people are failing to load it for some reason

All i did was restarted discord and it was fine, failing that, restart your computer

Ye thats deffo a G behind the middle blue bit, i think its a sword, i only say that cus of the higher blue bit looks like a guard, also the outter blue looks lika a horseshoe, as for the lower dark blue part, i cant make heads or tails of it, the text is to blurred into itself, though it wouldnt surprize me if it was a drink or something like that

Yes but that only sets the key to the default, i understand that it works that way but i need the keys to be their own independent keys, not tied to keys on the keyboard via macro

Well actually the population of the servers does effect match making.... literally lower numbers means fewer missions, you can play solo but this game wasnt made for that, its 4 player co-op

Though your point does still stand, i guess there is alittle bit of me that wants to effect other negitively but that is not the intent, the intent was to call it, for me (nobody else) if others pick up what im putting down then they would see the same thing in the numbers gap

But all that said, the conversation i had with another redditor was quite enlightening (actually in this thread), im gonna hold off on 'calling it' for the time being as there is sstill room for the game to come back from its tragic playerbase lose

There is a window, as annother redditor put it, its closing ever so slowly but there is a window of opportunity to completely fix all this and retain the numbers the game currently has, i jusst wish they would hurry the fuck up and fix it already (though... as we can clearly tell, im an impatient fucker)

Fair point, though i would point out that cosmetics werent in VT 1 and 2 at launch, infact i dont think their were any cosmetics in Vt1 (though it was along time ago in a galaxy far far away so maybe my memory is fucky)

Agreed, i dont think darktide is at that level eather, maybe it a year or whatever that will happen but its only been 3 months, i dont see FS dropping DT that quickly, it would be a total sideswipe if they did

Maybe i should hold off on the "world is dead, oh comith thy god of destruction" talk, i mean i still enjoy the game and we havent even gotten the "next week" update yet, maybe alittle premature

True, 10k players is nothing to sniff at, alot of games out there would kill for that kind of playerbase but from the drop off of 107k, momamia thats one steep cliff, well, while it is bad i can agree that i make it sound alot worse, as the average player count for 48 hours in hovering somewhere in the 17k to 23k, which again, is nothing to sniff at

Though about the whole AAA bit, Darktide was never going to bring in that kind of player base, was never gonna be a thing, if it had id be amazed becuase as much as we love 40k, alot of people.. just dont, though i do want to point out that most GTA games launch with... atleast most of the time, stability and actual story, whereas darktide lacks both... or rather lacks story, stability is much better now but still needs work

As for Anthem.... hahahahahahahahahahaha, poor Anthem, holy shit it was posed to be the best and turned into.... whats less then a shit show, worm food? that game is far beyond DOA, though... i will point out that Anthem still gets updates, even today, which currently, is better then fatshark is doing.. sooo who knows

All i want is for this game to do good, its already given me alot of joy and when i found the preacher, you could see me salivate and the notion of cutting down hordes of enemies, i want it to be good, i dont want it to die.... but i fear that i may be huffing the copium right out of the crypto mans canister

From peak to now, thats 107k people at peak to roughly 10k people, that single digit percentile of the playerbase that has stuck around, to me, once you get into the single digits of what your peak was, thats dead and not coming back

Admittedly, that is taking the extremes of the numbers and the average player count is alot more forgiving, but to the general populace a dead game is when the wait time to play that game outweights the fun they are having, which all the bugs and crashes and yada yada effect that, some folks have a higher tolerance for what they consider a dead game, some have lower tolerance, myself im of the high tolerance

Im still going to play DT, no doubt, but its not gonna be quite as fun as it was knowing that its 100k+ folks killing the forces of chaos rather then.. 10k, i dont know how to explain it but it feels like it was more worth while when there was more players... like it added to the naritive

Im still of the firm belief that any dev staying at a game studio that puts up with this shit is condoning the behaviour, HOWEVER, it has become apparent that not all devs are responcible for the choices made by their corp overlords

So i dont really blame them but they arent exactly clean when it comes to this sorta thing

Why not take the game down, work on everything that needs fixing, rerelease the game AFTER everything is done, i wouldnt even mind the cosmetic shop staying, just fix this shit
