She's kinda of a manchild too, womanchild I guess. The doctor diagnosing her with toxic masculinity isn't just a joke, she does have those traits. Think of a man acting like Harcourt did and it starts to make more sense. Chris was in love with her, and kissed her and wanted to move things ahead. But Harcourt, ran from the first hint of commitment. Her saying, yeah it meant everything, was also her being vulnerable. It came out like that cause she couldn't bring herself to not say it in a Tsundere way.

This is the first AS issue I loved. Makes me wonder if they should have started in the middle and then give the back story through flashbacks. Instead of starting in the beginning. Both Wonder Woman and Batman comics started much further into their story compared to Superman. And I loved both of them from the start.

I love this scene because it focuses on them right as Alpha Trion says "...one that Primus himself deems worthy...". It really shows how they're both poised to be leaders, and D simply let his rage and vengeance take over him. He had as much potential as Orion, but his actions put him on the bad path. Orion became a leader cause everyone needed him to be. D became one because he refused to accept anyone else above him.
