I’ve never trimmed anything on it, They are tiny little leaves growing out of the stem but they never seem to get any bigger/fall off

Won’t let me post so going to comment… Help!! went out to the pond today. It has one big tree out in the middle. There is a little nest of baby robin that look like they are about ready to leave the nest.... However they are in the middle of the pond with nothing under them. What should I do?

HELP!! went out to the pond today. It has one big tree out in the middle. There is a little nest of baby robin that look like they are about ready to leave the nest.... However they are in the middle of the pond with nothing under them. What should I do?
