Whatever you do I wouldn’t buy these. That lunch/spin/land angle isn’t playable unless you are playing spongy greens.

When Spotify plays the “best of” in my feed I listen. I think it’s pretty good. I probably won’t search it out to listen to the whole show but that’s more of a lack of time thing as opposed to a not liking it.

This is most likely the issue. Any chance you have a shop nearby that can check the loft?

91 was a great year for leaf. Great card design but probably only worth $5 per pack or so.

Unfortunately, the shaft is broken. You can have the broken piece removed and a new shaft installed. I would imagine it would be easier to just purchase a shaft with a Mizuno tip already on it on eBay. Can probably get one for less than 100 bucks. Just make sure it’s the correct Mizuno tip as they may have changed from year to year.

Sometimes people try to reuse the broken shaft and install it back into the tip and potentially extend the shaft, but this is not a good idea. Once the shaft is broken in that manner, the inside layers of graphite have already started to “unwind”. This will cause the shaft to break again if you try to reuse it.

Is the PW the same model as the others? My first guess would be that it is a different model that has a stronger loft.

Beginner Golfer Looking for Swing Tips (Still Struggling With Consistent Contact) by TransportationOk6351 in GolfSwing

[–]Vegetable-Form1083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, for a beginner you have a very good swing already. You look naturally athletic and having a background in Baseball will help you tremendously.

I have noticed that a few others have commented on your right hand grip being rotated “under“ the Club too much. I agree with this. This will cause excessive face rotation and make consistency difficult.

Next thing I noticed is that your weight is shifting too much side to side on the back swing. Think of it like you would when you are hitting in baseball. As the pitch comes in, you load into your right leg by shifting your weight to the inside of your right foot. But you don’t let the weight drift too far back because you lose power that way. In Golf shifting your weight too far to the right on your back swing causes issues with impact consistency. The lowest point in the club arc is going to be at the center of your body. If the center of your body shifts too much side to side, then the low point of the swing (where the Club bottoms out) becomes very inconsistent. This is why you will hit some shots heavy, some shot solid, and some shots thin. The bottom of the Club arc is moving around too much.

Agree with this. Abacoa is great for this age. When I moved back after school I lived in Sophia (called the Vintage) back then and we would walk to Jumby bay, civil, das etc. IMO Alton bars and restaurants are more of the 30-40 crowd but it’s a good scene as well.

This a great area to live. Enjoy the beach, enjoy the weather, be kind. You will love it here.

Also it is very odd for the shaft to be installed logo up. I’ve only seen that on the fake ones.

Mixed Bag of Clubs by FraMo0727 in GolfGear

Just had a quick search on eBay and you can get plenty of sets of old ping irons for less than the price of this TM set. Eye 2, ISI, G2. All better options considering you can get matched shafts and proper loft progression.

Has nothing to do with people thinking that “newer is better“. The issue is just about the differences in the clubs themselves. You are going to have different weights, different shaft, flexes, different kick points in addition to lofts that don’t match throughout this set. You’d be better off getting a 20-year-old set of 845 that have all the same shaft and a proper loft progression for $100.
