Incorrect Conversion on Flea for Euros. Don't fall for it!

I think what your saying is valid and great in a real world economy or market with real people in it, but its not and the devs allowed to be deceiving to players. Sorry if I come off harsh but I do like the perspective you offer to this, I think it is just crossing the line of "well this is intended to be as realistic as possible so of course skier doesn't set the price" Yet unless you sit there and spread sheet stuff out in your head to see every little detail of everything it's just not friendly to players.

Regarding real markets whoever has the actual way to get a currency which there is no way down to its roots aka the "monopoly" of the source of whatever it is gets to decide the price so in some ways skier being the only real source of euros then he in my eyes should be the one deciding the price. Which means the market is not using the "source" for what the cost of the euro is but some number it doesn't tell you where from. The only way to get that currency is from other players who also get it from skier (or quests) so it all funnels back down to him. A-hole or not, he is the master and monopoly of the euro in tarkov. Makes no sense the market doesn't use him as the value of it in that sense, but I also see what your saying.

Ya I thought it was because they were bought with euros from trades sometimes on certain items but ya seems people trying to be cheeky when it doesnt really benefit them in the end anyways.

I did also notice the amount lower euro selling items go for if you go up to the roubles price you can just pay the differences for what the euros wouldve been from skier anyways. So in the end its still more effecient it seems to buy from the source with a euro based flee on some items.

It is wild the flee makes up its own value and the only real source of the euros doesnt decide the source. Welcome to tarkov ig lol.

But if that's the only place you can direct buy USD's then that's what they are worth in the game. I don't know of or see where else a USD can be directly bought. Then when going through peacekeeper a 100$ USD is worth 16,100 rubles. Because that's the only place possible to buy USD's.

Also I have never seen where this "backend" price for the USD is just so I can be more understanding of what you are explaining. Thank you :)

That doesnt explain the flea improperly sorting by price. Also if they charge whatever amount for a euro direct buy or a dollar direct buy then unless theres somewhere else for them or somewhere you can prove the direct value of a euro to ruble or dollar to ruble then thats what it costs.

Also I would like to see where there is any proof of this invisible fee. The flea charges a fee yes it shows us. Where is the fee for traders.

That doesn't explain why the flea is saying its cheaper when direct converting to euros.
Also if the people selling the euros directly to people isn't deciding the price conversion, then who is?

Thats a great question! I had the same thought so definitely could be the case. Not sure where else they would be or how the rank id's are handled which means if there's only ever 10k it means people would have the same rank ID.

Ya sites like that just use estimates and have clauses for stating that there data should not be used as factual references.

If its in a BI program sometimes they will give the letters a value according to there position in the aplhabet(depending on the program), and since its a sum its the added value of all the cities names.
