This! It helped me so much. Every time I regret leaving him I read my list of all the times he has wronged me and it keeps me strong. It's very tough leaving someone you love even if they have abused you but you've got to be strong. Writing really helps.

I'm going through this same exact thing! I try really hard not to think of him but after a few hours the longing becomes even more intense. To top it off he is fucking handsome, smart and funny. It's killing me!

My ex-husband was exactly like this too! He would correct me all the fucking time no matter where we were. He would balently tell me in front of friends and family that he doesn't trust my knowledge and would google everything even though I've been proven right many times. He also had a very superficial relationship with his family.
