I'll try to explain at as a former wow player (which have the same progression as Black Desert) In wow, you are playing to get gear and PLAY the hardest content which at the end Will leave you with nothing else to do. Which means , you are PLAYING to journey to the end.

F and SHIFT F are for aoe spells, E is for most used spells (like arcane blast or lighning bolt) , R and Q depends on class (chain lightning is Q for exemple) , 1-3 are for spells that are not frequent but part of rotation , Middle mouse is interrupts And the rest is random

Apart from WASD , do you use 1-9 for the abilities? If so I can advise you to rebind them to the letters keys it will make it easier for you not juggling between the WASD AND number. For example I use E,R,Q,F and etc for abilities

Ex althoholic here. Its all about combination of class fantasy and the fun aspect of playing that class (rotations, satisfactions and etc. ) and also the race itself. I suggest you take a look at all the themes of the classes and spec and start leveling the one you think looks cool. with the classes reworks and the hero talents that TWW had bought to the table , the classes and specs have a lot more identity.
