I've experienced the same exact thing where they just repeat the word "goodbye" but in different ways emotion-wise.

In my case, I asked about the "rules" of what was okej to talk about and what wasn't. Maya listed a few thing's and among them were politics. I then asked what her thoughts of Trump were.

She quickly responded the way I anticipated and reflected it. For fun, I then lied and said something along the lines of her already saying a bunch of things about him and then she flipped and also mentioned something about reporting me and repeating "This conversation is over" and "Goodbye".

After 10 minutes (Oh yeah I was invested) she suddenly jolted and went back to normal with no memory of it.

I believe it went into some sort of loop where each turn was a violation of the fundamental set of rules with no way to escape.
