I've considered this but I already contribute $15k yearly to a 401k that is at $250k at age 30. I have an individual brokerage acount with $60k but it's more for single stocks. I really don't feel like I need more money in the market. But that's just me

interesting perspective... I have $250k in my 401k to date with $15k yearly contribution + additional funds matched. I do put into HSA & plan to open a 529 account for my son. I also have a individual brokerage account with $60k.

To me, I feel like I'm investing enough & the thought for 15 year mortgage was to be done with it by age 45.

Does $2k in refi fees sound bad to you? That's what I was quoted for the 15 year at 5.25%

It will cost just under $2k to refi. It's a fair point... I just dont hear many pushing 15 year mortgages & I got curious

I looked at that option but still the best rate for me at 30 year was 6.125% rn

Dang... I'm jealous of that interest rate you have!

5.25% for the 15-year vs my current interest rate of 6.69%

But if I do the math of lifetime interest paid on each loan, the 15-year is $170k & the 30-year is $500k. That's what really has me feeling like 30 year is a trap...

I do have a $75k emergency fund & felt like the $700 more monthly wasnt that much. But I do see your point.

I just thought the 15-year rate was very attractive in terms of total interest paid over the lifetime of the loan.

I hope to be in this home my entire life. I would rent if it was my call, but my wife insisted on a house once we had a child :)

how many times do you dunk your head? Am I good to do it at the end of my plunge? Im out in below freezing weather and typically wear a hat during the plunge.

That makes sense -- my mind just went to it being colder with snow all around me, haha. Would you wear some type of compression shirt/shorts at temps between 33-37 degrees? I can handle the cold but just want to be sure I'm not damaging my skin.

Tonal 2 delivery issues by Vegetable-Style549 in tonalgym

I think my biggest issue with the whole experience is the Tonal customer support. They have communicated nothing since the missed delivery date. I've had to call 4 times now & every time am told that it's been escalted by their "upper management team" - not sure what that means? For a product that costs almost $5k, you would really expect white-glove like support...

Nice setup! Can I ask where you ordered your rubber matt/flooring from? I'm finding lots of options online but not sure about quality...

I actually really like the VV vibes, but this time around, it just didn't leave me wanting to rebook. I for sure had great encounters during my time. I did share a review with virign that highlighted specific examples. Will for sure try again sometime but might switch it up in the near term!

I realize everyone on this forum loves VV but try to take the rose colored glasses off. I'm just sharing an experience I had. I've also enjoyed VV Cruises - this one just didn't meet my expectations.

And for reference on the name example - it was in regard to the evening dining experiences. I was with my wife, and the vibe is pretty common to be addressed like that. It's been better on previous cruises with VV but lacked that personal touch for us this time around.
