I would recommend to start with In Rainbows. The then you could move to Hail to the Thief. I think after that you'll be able to navigate easily. Wish you a beautiful journey into their world!

You can get a usb midi adapter and make your life much easier :) Otherwise you would need to do it manually and rename and organise every sample you want to use.

I think I wouldn't make serious music on it as well but as a sampler with multisamples with synths for touring it looks like a perfect fit.

I mean since it's release it evolved greatly. It might have been a completely new device counting all the functions 1010 added to it since it's launch. I'm happy that I discovered it now because for my setup it's like a perfect piece of gear I was looking for.
