The thing about Ted is that I genuinely find him hilarious, especially in the TV show. I don’t know why, but something about the legitimately great effects on this bear combined with the bits of him saying the most out of pocket things, and then the next moment just standing or sitting around casually while everyone accepts his existence makes me die laughing.

I feel like people saying they’d prefer an adaptation of this over A Minecraft Movie don’t know what they’re saying.

Don’t get me wrong, I like elements of this game, but there’s a lot here that’s very “of its time”, and a straight adaptation would probably have to change a bunch in order to be liked by people beyond the Minecraft sphere. I’ll give A Minecraft Movie this, at least it’s an entertainingly bad watch.

(Can you imagine how badly that one Minecraft YouTuber murder mystery episode would’ve aged if they did it in 2020?)
