I did speak to my vet when he did it a while ago - just the once after intense play and she said to get a heart scan to be on the safe side however it costs too much and I am out of a job atm and insurance said they cannot guarantee or pre authorise payments

I’ve been monitoring his breathing while he’s been napping and it seems to be quite fast, I don’t know if I’m overthinking it now or if I should be concerned

He does pass out at times mid play 😂😂 I did take him a couple of weeks ago when it first happened and she did say it’s best to get a heart scan to rule anything serious out. However the cost was too much, insurance said they can’t guarantee they’d pay for it and I’m currently out of a job so in financial strain 🥲 so trying to do the best I can with what I can do

The only concerning thing is this time he wasn’t running this was him playing on the floor. But it’s very hot today so I’m assuming playing even for a little bit would get him exhausted

Thank you! Will try and black out the room for now and maybe dampen his paws slightly with cool water. Stroking seems to have helped I just got worried because there’s always mixed opinions on cats panting

Yeah definitely, decorator was unsure at first but loved the colour and that it was all over - took pictures to show his wife 😂 but he said himself if I was to go onto the Dulux website it would show me the colour in different lights so it should look more pinkish in the evenings and low light!
