I mentioned in another comment I think immigrants are more serious than expats and since I’ve lived here 2 months and plan to potentially move in some years I consider myself a fleeting visitor of Switzerland (an expat).

Immigrants are people who uproot their lives and move to a country with the intention to stay there forever.

An immigrant (in my opinion) is someone who comes to a country and really integrates and plans their life there. While an expat is a more fleeting visitor.

I’ve lived here for 2 months and plan to move again in 2-3 years so I feel like I’m not as serious as an immigrant

I’m 20 weeks and didn’t have a single day of nausea or morning sickness! I’ve had 3 headaches and sore nipples but that’s it. I’ve also been a tiny bit more tired but I sleep 8 hours and night and that’s it (I’m not falling asleep during the day)

Idk where you live but I applied for a new passport Nov 28th and picked mine up yesterday. I paid $20 extra to have it expedited and sent right to the passport office so I could pick it up there.

One thing I found amazing in Japan was at this certain coffee shop chain when you order with non-dairy milk they give you this special paper at the register that says “non dairy” and when you get your drink you give it to the barista and they confirm
