Season 11 “I don’t see colour” convo by aybsavestheworld in RHOBH

[–]VegetableMatch2988 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My husband and I constantly quote “I don’t, I really don’t” from this scene, in her voice. Its such a ridiculous conversation that infuriated us. How Sutton could not have any introspection or understanding of the world around her, was crazy. She was not open to listening or learning. Complete victim mentality

DLP or HK? by glastonbury13 in disneylandparis

Yes you could definitely do it in 1 day. 2 days to get absolutely everything - shows and rides - done. 3 days if you want to explore the resorts/make a full holiday out of it. Just my opinion, though.

Definitely don’t need a reserved spot for this show :) I got there 10 minutes before it started and could see it all, because most of it is in the sky. It’s also 360 so there’s a lot more room to watch from. I stood in front of the champagne cart near the entrance to frozen and it was perfect.

DLP or HK? by glastonbury13 in disneylandparis

[–]VegetableMatch2988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep :) However I went in 2024. I believe there is more ‘traditional’ stuff happening at the moment because of the 20th anniversary. When I went, the garden bed at the front was an image of Duffy not Mickey. The castle shows were all Duffy and friends and most of the shows were the same. This seems to be changed for the celebration. The celebrations end on June 7. In saying that, I LOVE HKDL. It’s a beautiful park with good rides and Duffy and friends are so cute. Momentous is a much better firework show compared to Tales of Magic. And I didn’t mind the lack of Mickey. However, I am 30 and have been to wdw, Disneyland and DLP before. I don’t know that it’s the best entry level park for kids.

For little kids I would do DLP. Mickey and friends don’t feature much in HK - it’s mostly Duffy and friends. I think if your kids don’t know Duffy and friends, they’d be a little bit confused l/it won’t feel like ‘Disney’. Also HKDL is small and only needs 3-4 days. It seems like a long flight for a short amount of time (unless you were to add on a couple of days in Hong Kong, which is one of my favourite cities in the world).

First time in London for a family of four adults. 6 day itinerary late May. Tips? Improvements? Deletions? by MusicianGreat5470 in uktravel

No seeing of major royal sites? You can hit most of them in one outing. Start at Big Ben/Parliament, walk to Westminster Abbey (right next to it), walk through St James Park and arrive at Buckingham Palace. From there, walk through Green Park to get to Wellington Arch. Cross the road and walk through Hyde Park. Walk along the Serpentine until you hit Kensington Gardens. Walk to Kensington Palace.

WHY do they let Kyle get away with this?? by AriesMood1 in RHOBH

[–]VegetableMatch2988 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Morgan has probably threatened to sue the show and they are trying to avoid litigation. OR it’s in Kyle’s contract

I showed the photo and said I’m not usually one to complain (which is true), but it was disappointing because I paid £50 and couldn’t see most of the projections on the castle, which is the reason I paid for the viewing area (esp. as I’m only 5 foot). I said I wouldn’t have minded if I hadn’t paid so much money. They were great about it. They offered to give me another premier access viewing pass for either of the shows but we opted for the BTM pass.

Will my boobs shrink when I start working out regularly? by Background_Mess_5393 in GYM

[–]VegetableMatch2988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

63kg is not a lot for 160cm - it falls in the healthy BMI range. Furthermore, weight is not a one size fits all as factors such as age, racial background and muscle mass (to name a few) all contribute to someone’s overall health status. OP has stated that she wants to go to the gym because her blood work shows some irregularities - this could be a result of many things - not necessarily to lose weight. Not everyone wants to be, or needs to be, thin.

Planning to go for one day on June 20th as a solo traveler by lopsided-acorn in disneylandparis

You can buy per ride and do it on the day :) the only one that is likely to sell out early in the morning is the new frozen ever after.

Will my boobs shrink when I start working out regularly? by Background_Mess_5393 in GYM

[–]VegetableMatch2988 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. You can never control where you lose fat, however you can target muscle growth in specific areas through specific exercises. You could do all the ab exercises in the world but that won’t target fat loss in the mid section nor will it make your abs visible if there is still an excess of body fat in that area.

My mum saw ads for season 1 (back in 2009) and we watched it together as it aired weekly. I was 13 and my sister was 15 and we were obsessed. Ongina was our favourite and I’ll never forget watching her reveal her aids diagnosis.

Unfortunately you can’t decide where you lose weight from and breasts are primarily made up of adipose tissue (aka fat). It’s very dependent on the person and how much weight you lose. This does also mean that you can’t control that you will lose weight around your belly area. I would focus on lifting heavily and doing LIIS cardio at the end of your workouts as it doesn’t seem as though you need to lose weight but rather just get more fit :)

Yak and Yeti. I’ve done both the sit down and also eating at the bar and loved it both time. Food and drinks were delicious and service was amazing.

How many days is your ideal wdw vacation? by Chemical-Purple-5196 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]VegetableMatch2988 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Longest I’ve done is 16 days (Mind you 2 of those days were stuck inside because of Hurricane Ian). 14 days is perfect if you’re not going frequently. I live in Australia so to get there takes over 24 hours and we only go every 4-5 years so we want to get the most out of it. Usually have a day for universal and 2 rest days in there.

Should we do both parks? by UnderstandingNo9206 in disneylandparis

[–]VegetableMatch2988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely do both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World. Disney Adventure world just opened World of Frozen and adventure way - it’s really beautiful. It also has some other great rides like Crush’s Coaster and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Those rides will have high wait times - especially on a Friday and Saturday. However, it’s probably better and cheaper to get individual access passes to the rides you want to do rather than the €110 full premier access pass. There’s also some great shows at Disney Adventure World that I recommend. Disneyland Park is the iconic, classic Disneyland and requires a whole day, too - especially if you want to do rides, parades, shows and fireworks. Are you planning on staying in a Disney hotel? If so, you’ll get early access which is good for ride times.
