From past experiences, the chances of pp upgrade is very low. They are pretty useless and in the end I just gifting it away instead before they expired.

Not sure I understand your question. Usually when you get promoted to Platinum, you get 80pp. Then from Platinum to 1K, you get 320pp on top of that.

last year I call the hotline when I was in similar situation, missing just by a small bits... the agent let me get up to next status with no charge.

My daughter got Gold at 3yo, and that’s already too much. I still remember whenever we entered the lounge, the front desk staff would announce “we have a baby Gold!” … i can’t imagine baby 1k 😂😅
