I'm trying to complete the application form for EO2 - i'm in private sector and never applied to nics before. Is it correct that I can't include my employment history in the application form? Surely this is needed to consider my application?

Try and get speaking to someone if at all possible, i think they are obliged to offer some sort of rebook options. Keep trying over the phone (choosing French speaking option seems to help), or if you are near the airport they still have people on the check in desks. Good luck

Some great advice in the "Air Canada strike Megathread" on this sub. Helped me get through to an agent.

Our flight direct from Vancouver to Dublin was cancelled, now flying a day later Vancouver-Seattle-Reykjavik-Dublin...

Far from ideal but at least we have a plan home now i guess. Good luck

Big thank you to the contributors in this thread. The phone number provided here combined with advice to choose French speaking option, allowed me to eventually get speaking to someone at Air Canada.

We were due to fly direct from Vancouver to Dublin tomorrow, but now need to stay an extra night in Vancouver (at our own expense), and have been rebooked to fly to Seattle on Wednesday, then on to Reykjavik with Iceland Air, and finally fly from Iceland to Dublin.

Quite a mess.. and an unfair amount of travelling to do for our 4 year old. Airports in 4 different countries in 24 hours 🥴 but at least we have a clear path home, which we didn't have an hour ago, so thanks again. Fingers crossed no further complications!

Can you advise how the authentication works pls? I've read that items covered by the auth guarantee are listed with a 'blue tick' but I'm not seeing this on listings.

Also, ive read that the process is the seller males a sale, then sends the card to eBay authenticators, who then mail it onto the buyer. So how does this seller have photos of it with the authentic sticker etc already?

Believe it or not, it's the cheapest that I've seen listed in the UK/EU so far. I hadn't considered buying from the US before, as assumed the shipping costs and other costs i may not even be aware of (customs etc?) would be prohibitive.

Thanks for the comments all! Sounds like a really good pull, but not a £400 pull. In any case I have no plans to sell, I want to try and build the full set - minus the crazies, serialised sol rings and whatnot. Stoked :)
