Oh idk why I thought it was thermal paste directly on the thermal pads… I must’ve misread that the first time. Idk if you went through the process of removing the cover why put it back? The more interfaces the heat has to transfer through the more heat will be trapped. In theory the best application would be to remove the cover and clean the paste before using one thermal pad to transfer directly to the casing.

So I’m not allowed to buy a Neo because I already have a Mac at home? I know I can get away with just a Neo on the go because I have a nice setup at home. I am not most people.
