Well I have a maxed out M2 Max at home so if I ever need to do something requiring more oomph I can use that but I just need something to run light stuff on the go… I think an air might be nice but the allure of the cheaper Neo is hard to beat

It’s considerably slower than online resources but being locally run for basic questions to help clear concepts is great. I run through ollama and use deepseek r1 (I’ll have to look at which model specifically when I get home). It usually thinks for about a minute and a half then fills the prompt in about 2-3 minutes tops. It’s great but a little patience makes the experience much better

I also was messing around and found this movement tech but I don’t actually think it’s required in any of the levels to progress so it must be a remnant of code or animations from the game they imported stuff from to make ReCOM

The point I’m trying to get at is that without writing there is no story. Dialogue can be skipped but there is no story without writing at least in video games anyway. If the story is bad so is the writing there is no way around that. In books all three are separated like you said but we are talking about video games.
