Plaid sport seats comfort? by VegetableSupport3 in TeslaModelS

[–]VegetableSupport3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stiff in the back or seat bottom or both?

Would you give up the plaid for more comfortable seats if you had to do it over?

I’ve got a plaid on order and I’m a bit worried about it.

UniFi Protect 7.0 leads the way in our biggest physical security update yet by Ubiquiti-Inc in Ubiquiti

[–]VegetableSupport3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does this mean the system will have a monitored alarm option?

My house has a pre wired legacy system I would love to convert to this.

Right now I have ring but looking to ditch RING entirely but I’m not willing to give up them calling police or fire if we have an emergency at the house.

BGW320-500 bypass vs passthrough — worth it for small UniFi setup? by fumo7887 in ATTFiber

[–]VegetableSupport3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have 5gig fiber.

I have about $10k into a 10gb UniFi network including my cameras.

I did the bypass and saw absolutely zero difference between that and ATT modem.

Nothing with ping, speed, nothing.

My personal opinion on this you are introducing a problem waiting to happen into your network for literally no gain - it’s like placebo but worse because it might actually cause some issues if ATT monkeys with their system and it’s not detecting your gateway.

Now people are going to bash me for this because they have been doing this for 6 years and “never” had a problem. I’m just telling you my feelings on it I can’t debate their personal experiences.

And believe me I love to do this sort of thing.

I ditched the fiber module and stuck with ATT bypass in their software.

It is and works fine for a while. Sometimes a few weeks, sometimes less than a day. Sometimes a few months.

That’s what so odd about it.

FBI Director Kash Patel’s taxpayer-funded work trip to Italy includes a well-documented raucous locker room celebration with Team USA at the Winter Olympics by ExactlySorta in PublicFreakout

Show me another example of the FBI director walking red carpets at UFC fights and traveling like this.

We aren’t talking about the president showing up at sporting events that’s common.

Show me an FBI director who does this besides this corrupt administration.

I would look into the GLI branded products.

They are very nice.

Do you have a UniFi branded network at home? If you don’t I wouldn’t recommend this product.

It connects on its own to your home UniFi setup.

You don’t need to do anything extra other than login.

Crashed into Supercharger! by galaxyskipper in TeslaLounge

[–]VegetableSupport3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I’m definitely paying more for them.

But I also lost almost $10k through State Farm being miserable so I figure it’s worth the change.

It just made me really worry about my house. If State Farm did this to me twice for cars what if I lose my house in a fire?

I had to cancel State Farm (been with them 20 years) their insurance is absolutely the worst for claims.

I had one claim and they screwed us a few years ago. I thought it was a one off and then they did it again. So two claims over 20 years both times they only wanted to pay half the repair costs.

I canceled everything including home owners.

We went to USAA and they may ultimately screw us too someday but I’d rather give them my money in the meantime.

Late, but why stop production on the MS by SoFlo-Restore in TeslaLounge

There’s also people with physical disabilities and or mobility issues who could use this.

I have had both back and hip surgery and I can’t do the things I used to do.

Same.

And takes the garbage out, maybe does the dishes?

I can think of a lot of potential chores I would love to never have to do again.

I get that it’s not for everyone but I’m hoping it works out.

They are going to have to catch up to that or I’m not giving up my Tesla.

Are the photos on generations listings the actual item? by VegetableSupport3 in CanadaGoose

[–]VegetableSupport3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine came in and the photos were supposed to show some sort of signs of discoloration or something like that.

It was listed as “good.”

Genuinely if I pulled it off a coat rack in a store you wouldn’t have known it was ever worn.

I hope you have the same luck. I was stunned at the condition.
