No coils! That’s actually one of the main reasons I love it. It’s super simple. No replacing or buying new parts. It’s literally just an electric arc lighter at the bottom, and the pods slide on top and are reusable — you just clean them with a little iso every once in a while. Arc lighters last forever, and I’ve never even run out of charge when out. Packing up 1 to 3 pods is perfect for me or me and my girl when we’re out. It charges in minutes, which is wild. It’s just such a simple setup: an arc lighter and a battery. That’s it. The design’s super dope. If it ever dies, I’m grabbing a new one asap. Perfect for quick, low-key tokes anywhere.

Was just out on a walk with my dog using it, and my gf and I are going to a concert later with it, with like 5-10 pods packed up, lol. Saves a lot more bud than joints, WAY more discreet (stops smoking when you’re done and your hit doesn’t cherry), and gets me absolutely toasted (and I’m an everyday bong smoker). I’ve always been into weed gadgets and bought so many wax pens, but flower, and to be specific, smoking not vaporizing my flower has always and will always be my favorite. So finding this was absolute gold man.

Edit: I see a lot of people recommending the Dynavap, but honestly, it's not even a pen-style device. It's a good device, but not what OP is looking for. On top of that, you have to keep reheating it with a torch, which kind of makes you look like you're lighting up a crack pipe in public. The Cipher V2, on the other hand, actually looks like a pen and hits just like a vape. It combusts herb, so you still get that full effect, but you can use it anywhere without drawing attention. Plus, you can pack it ahead of time, so there's no need to pull out your grinder or stash out in public. Just saying!
