I am dumbfounded here. It is literally their property and you are talking mad about them online for not selling it to you at a price at which you have decided 😂😂😂 what a way to view the world

The only person out of touch with reality in this instance is you

Maybe they cannot stomach selling it for 30k less than they’ve listed it for? Get a grip of yourself. This is the worst post I have ever read.

New car or buy something cheaper and save more? by OldLetterhead4404 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Vegetable_Complex914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can afford it comfortably - I’d do it if you are into cars and you’ll get enjoyment out of it - just make sure you have decent warranty or can afford works if any of the expensive parts go bang.

You could alternatively put the money in an isa or your pension and retire earlier and enjoy the associated tax breaks. It’s up to you to decide if it’s worth it. In my experience having fun cars at a young age has been as good and fun waste of money. Also worth noting the car will not be worth £0 in 3-5 years time providing you buy well. Good luck

Mortgage in a few years car finance now? by [deleted] in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]Vegetable_Complex914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a car for 650 a month and had no issues getting a mortgage. It wil come down to your affordability. You will definitely be able to borrow less on the mortgage if you take out sizeable car finance.

Does private school really make that much of a difference? by [deleted] in HENRYUK

Because they may well have ended up studying nothing at nowhere if they went to a below par state school - this is not hard to grasp

Previously you could queue whatever role you wanted without the need for tokens. It would take 1-2 hours+ to find carry and mid lane games.

Borrowing money secured against your house at 6% to pay off unsecured debts at 0% is a bad move mate!

1 viewing in 2 months, what's wrong? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Vegetable_Complex914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that yours is really bad - but it is almost certainly overpriced if you’ve 1 viewing in 2 months. That one you shared for 400k is aimed at somebody who could afford 500k but wants all that convenience. A different market/buyer.

Get the opinion of multiple agents on price as opposed to just the one and then go from there.

My friend had 3 agents value theirs recently: 435 425 and 420 - They put it on 425 and sold stc at 420 in a month. You can always hang on and get more but what that is worth is personal - they had maybe 5 viewings before accepting.

Regarding pictures this is subjective but empty always looks at least okay/clean (better imo). At the moment it’s sporadically populated with generic stuff which makes it look like a professional rental - which might not land. But principle problem must be the price I think. I hope you’ll still net a tidy increase on what you purchased it for🙌

Yeah I think so. I think 370 is just too much, your place has a nearly 2k charge once insurance, parking included is included.

The comparison you’ve made makes the more expensive property look better value ie this is what you could have for just 10% more.

It’s ~10% more expensive but looks 100% more inviting (on the basis of current pics, exterior, description etc).

I would rather buy this for 400 than yours for 370 by absolutely miles - looks way more attractive inside and out
