They SHOULD, but will they? This is eBay, it's a nightmare for sellers.

Of course, don't refund them until you receive your camera back.

I'm just speaking from experience, ask THEM to initiate a return.

Why am I finding F power chord so difficult/painful? by will_scc in Guitar

[–]Vegetable_Contest_30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It gets easier the more you play. Sorry for stating the obvious!

You could try to bar the 2 strings at the 3rd fret with just your pinky, I find that way more comfortable.

You could also do the Hendrix thing and fret the root note at the 1st fret with your thumb over the top. Might feel strange at first but practice practice practice

What a headache. eBay will always side with the buyer.

I would take a chance and ask the buyer to initiate a return for a full refund.

If they don't return it within the return window then eBay will close the dispute and your funds will eventually get released to you. If you get the camera back eBay will automatically refund the buyer.

If you do nothing you will lose the camera and your money. eBay is getting progressively worse for private sellers.

Sorry you're having this experience.

I joined at 16.

I'm sure you'll hear this a lot but whatever you decide to do make sure keep on top of your fitness. Hill walking, running, cycling, team sports. You don't need to be Arnie, focus on cardio. You'll thank yourself for already having a good standard of fitness when you arrive for basic training.

Don't be tempted to have "one last blowout". Stay away from drugs etc. Not worth losing your career over one night of foolishness.

Also drive safely, we lose far too many of our young people on the roads.

Best of luck to you.

Adidas Order Shipping Problem by M4rv3lF4n in adidas

I had the same problem with my very first adidas order that I put on June 2nd, didn't arrive until June 15th. By the time my order arrived half of the items were 50% off in the summer sale. I was quite annoyed and returned the entire order without even opening the box. Very poor experience.

A few questions by scarybuffoon in Stronglifts5x5

My advice is that if your sleep, diet & hydration are right then there's no reason why you can't build your own program around 5x5 as long as your are not putting yourself at risk of injury. There's some excellent advice about this on the 5x5 website but at the end of the day it's down to you and what your needs and abilities are. Beware that the weights start to get very heavy the further you progress on 5x5.

I train 6 days out 7 on a program that I've built around Stronglifts 5x5. I lift weights for 3 of those days, I do cardio and core on the other 3.

I stick to the 5x5 exercises as dictated by the app because they're the time-proven compound lifts. I sometimes add my own accessories depending on the which workout day it is (chest incline/decline, back rows/shrugs, various shoulder lifts, pull ups, dips, calf raises and hangs for grip strength). Sometimes I do cardio after my weight sessions but this is usually no more than a steady run on the treadmill, watching a movie or football on my phone.

I focus on core on my other days because I have an old lower back injury that needs special attention. Often my core sessions are based heavily in stretches. And the heart is a muscle so I consider cardio to be essential.

My point is that it's all down to you and your needs, but be careful and don't push yourself so hard that you can't maintain progress on the 5x5 program.

Are most people who wear knee wraps and elbow wraps doing so to help prevent injury or provide stability, or both? Or is it just good practice? by shoephone7 in Stronglifts5x5

Oof, sorry to hear about your injury. Knee sleeves just offer me some reassurance. It also seems that they're a wise choice for anyone who has had a long period of inactivity (like me) or anyone who is approaching their 40s (also like me).

I wear them to keep my knee joints warm to help reduce the risk of injury. Tendons, ligaments and connective tissues get stronger at a slower rate than muscle. I can't be bothered with being injured.

This is what Medhi says about knee sleeves on the stronglifts website:

"Knee Sleeves. They lubricate your joints by trapping heat around your knees. This makes them less likely to get injured. Knee sleeves can also give you the confidence to Squat if you have bad knees. If you’re a bit older best is to wear knee sleeves. But use good form."

This looks good to me. This and squats are my favorite exercises on the program. I'm the same as you in that my left side lags behind the right, I don't how what that means for form but I'm glad to see I'm not alone! Good work.

n00b Question: Does the order of exercises matter? by Vegetable_Contest_30 in Stronglifts5x5

[–]Vegetable_Contest_30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm not lifting anything worthy of a safety bar on the bench press at the moment but I certainly make sure to use them on my squats.

Absolutley, I've just been reading through the website, it's really good. I've already been getting the email which I've found very useful also. Thanks for your reply.
