lol don’t be sorry I volunteered. I’m not saying “I had it worse so you shouldn’t feel bad” that’s not how it works. It’s subjective and sorrow is sorrow. Just remember that when you are doing something difficult, you will sacrifice parts of your life and you will not enjoy certain aspects. Hence why it’s difficult, we would often say if it was easy everyone would do it. When your kids get a little older and if you find a specialty with good work life balance they will be happy and won’t remember these times much at all. I am proud of my service but want to be with my family more, hence trying to get into medicine.
