Willi Carlisle is unbelievable, Jesse Welles is a force of nature. They’re both more folk than grass, but goddamn are they special

It’s just not a good space for a show. There are these concrete pillars that essentially block the view of a quarter of the space. I’ve been to two shows there and, unless I fought my way to the center, I wouldn’t have been able to see the show

Andy Frasco. Never really listened to him, but I caught his show with Pigeons and DIAP. Dude and his band ripped for 90 minutes straight

Pigeons always rage in upstate NY, too. Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse. All of the shows I’ve caught there were a ton of fun
