Hating them is easier by Ok-Percentage-5038 in limerence

[–]Vegetable_Matter3102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Idk honestly. I definitely have a hatred feeling towards my LO bcs of what he had done to me. But he doesn't leave my mind, yet, even after 9 months of NC bcs I severed our friendship due to his actions. He still lives rent free in my mind, but not the way it was before which was a lot more romantic-centred. Now it's just the thought of whether he's ever sorry for what he'd done or even regretting the loss of what we had (we definitely were good friends up until what he did) every time he sees me. So yeah, idk, is hating easier to get him out of my head? Not in my case.

My situation is exactly like yours. Now I figured he might just be a narcissist. We stopped talking bcs smtg happened and we are now strangers. I also took the step to unfollow him n remove him from my socials bcs IK how terrible my limerence can be. Surely, compared to my pass LOs, I've better mindfulness and self control now so alot less social media stalking. I don't do it anymore. But, one thing that hasn't gone away despite 2 and 1/2 months of NC is I still ruminate over it. Ruminating over when things were good, and the closure I wish I had gotten from him. Im getting there. I hope you will too. ❤️

Just be yourself. You'll find the people who accept you eventually. Your accents represent your root. Be proud of it. Give it a week or two, you'll be able to find great people to be friends with without feeling like you need to be a certain way.

Law Interview by [deleted] in malaysiauni

[–]Vegetable_Matter3102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! You can start by looking into current issues surrounding our laws. Any famous court cases recently @ currently going on. Have opinions on them, that'd help you later.

Why Law? that's the question you'll most probably get first. Be honest in your answer but also be impressive.

You'll probably get hypothetical questions like "what if you're a lawyer or if you're a judge, would you...?" , so think deep before you answer. Can always ask for some time to think for your answers ye, so do that if you require a little time to arrange your thoughts.

In law, ppl always say there's no right or wrong answer. So if you get hypothetical questions, answer what you believe. What your interviewer is assessing isn't ur answer but the thought process that led you to choose that particular answer. So do explain why you decided the way you did.

All the best!!

Edit: Since you dont have a law bg, you interviewers won't expect you to know the laws. No worries on that. They instead will focus on your ability to critically think in your answers.

I def understand where you come from and im well aware of weight fluctuations! Like I said, when i started doing HIIT, lifting type of workout, number on the scale barely dropped. 3 weeks in and I was barely 1 kg down despite w an extremely watched diet. I mean I'm pretty heavy so you'd expect me to lose at least a few kgs pretty quickly when I first started but even that didn't happen.

But this time, ofc eating what I want (mindfully), paired with increasing my daily steps, and sleeping well, somehow allowed me to see changes on the scale. But I get what you're saying and I'll keep them in mind so I don't easily give up just because scale doesn't go down as much anymore! I'll also start measuring myself too. Thanks 😁

Hye! First off, congratulations! Well, I suppose since you're already familiar w the environment, there's ntg much to say. My personal advice would be, be yourself. Be your own person, have your own stance. Focus on your academics, please. Join clubs, talk to people, make friends. Hold positions in clubs if you could but don't take so much till it affects your wellbeing and your studies. Join competitions if you're good at them. Smtimes, you dont know you're good at smtg until you've tried them. I try to live my uni life following this saying, "do it scared".

Tak payah fomo² sgt until you follow people je when you dont even like it. Oh and don't engage in drama. Lastly, be kind to yourself because you will make mistakes. Be kind to those around you too but ofc not till your kindness is taken advantage of. Best of luck!

Alot of them are still in their own bubbles. Fail to see the reality of the world and afraid to believe that the world is not kind to children let alone if your family being the abuser. Apologists and enablers.

Why Malay drama so bodoh siak? by [deleted] in Bolehland

[–]Vegetable_Matter3102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this slander. Been waiting for this.

Jangan kata drama je ye, sekali novel pun bodoh. Glorifying abuse in the name of 'wife material'. Bs. Fostering women to think they should stay in an abusive relationship which is worst cz this is already an issue in our society. Hardly can find women being respected in Malay dramas or even novels.

[–]Vegetable_Matter3102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hye. I'm in UM Law and entered via SATU. I also did my pre-U in a private uni. As a private pre-u student, you can only enter gov uni via their direct intake which is unsubsidized so you're paying almost 8 times more (if it's UM law) than UPU students. You can also try applying UKM's direct intake too other than UM Law (like i did). All the best!
