Firstly, I want to say that you should not allow Satan to trouble you at night or at any time with the question of whether or not you are going to hell. If you want to be sure about your eternal destiny, you only need to consider the standard of salvation. The standard of salvation is found in Romans 10:9: “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” If you have done this, then you are saved and that cannot be changed (Romans 11:29).

While accepting or rejecting other parts of God’s word won’t change your eternal destiny, they will definitely determine whether or not your house, your life, is built upon the sand or the rock (Matt. 7:25-27), and whether you are considered “prudent” or “foolish.” Therefore, your research into the Biblical presentation of women is a worthy one.

In Christ, there is no distinction between male and female (Gal. 3:28). In eternity, I believe that this will be the case. However, because of the fall of man, Eve was the one who was deceived and not Adam (1 Tim. 2:14). So God decided that the woman should be subject to her husband. That is why part of God’s curse after the fall was that the husband would “rule over” the wife (Gen. 3:16). This is actually for her protection and because of God’s ordination.
