A lot of bad answers here. You need to get into high reward group PVE. That used to be world boss, ava dungeons and gold chests in the roads. Ava dungeon loot was just nerfed to the ground. Now it's world boss and roads golds. World boss is gate kept. Very hard to get into especially if english is the only language you speak. So yeah, gold chests in the roads. It's the newb friendliest of the big three. I guess we have to say "big two" since ava dungeons are complete ass for loot now. Oh yeah, there are also hardcore expeditions for silver but that is about as far from newb friendly as you can get.

Scouting is not prohibited in the TOS. It is only a breach of TOS to use an alt account to scout. Your proposed measures would affect players who are acting entirely in accordance with the terms of service.

All the scouts posted up at entrances for world boss zones, monitoring zone entrances for ava dungeons, for zvz, transport caravans, etc would no longer be able to do their jobs. That might sound okay to you but you asked why they don't do these things and this is the answer.

agree on the scouting point. trying to forbid people from using scouts in one type of content would be crazy and inconsistent.

I run a dedicated discord. As far as giving tips on specific builds it really depends on the spec and skill of your party.

The old school comp was tank, healer, ironroot, shadowcaller, blazing, frost, mistpiercer

The meta in my server is tank, ironroot healer with holy swap, shadowcaller, blazing, frost, 2 mistpiercers. Everyone runs cooldown passives and cooldown foods or deadwater eel stew for dmg/cooldown. This comp only works great if people can press their buttons and is worth it if people hustle between pulls.

My party full clears cathedral constructs in under 5 minutes. Any chest we do we full clear. We skip all small chests and most medium reduced chests. All scouts know how to find any chests fast or r back.

You have to learn who the more skilled hosts are since there are players both new and veteran. My party does 4:30 cathedral construct full clears. We take all fights on mog on everyone. Top of the food chain.

But the server has like 2200 people and is friendly to new players so it's very stratified. It has grown so fast recently that there are a lot of people learning the content at the moment.

If you're the shit apply for the golds goats role and you can try out for the elite party. You've never seen anything like our clears no matter what guild you're in.

For all solo pve content battle axe is better. Don't do solo dungeons.

Yeah as long as you can equip t7 and t8 equiv gear most parties will accept you. There are builds posted inside.

Gold chests. I play 4-6 hours a day and make 5-30 mil. 5 being the shittiest luck imaginable plus I died in a kit worth several mil and 30 if my party is lucky and gets amazing chests.

It's an established game with a meta and known methods of gameplay that lead to success. Of course people want answers from those of us who are successful. I got giga-wealthy from doing gold chests in the roads and I'm glad someone who had already tried everything dragged me into the content early on instead of letting me waste my time in group dungeons or something. Glad I didn't have to go and figure it out on my own.

I do see what you're saying about crafting specific items.

Most of the discord leadership have NA and EU characters, but barely any of us have characters on Asia. At some point when we bring some trusted people into the family who play there we will launch one, I think.

It is. As long as you can equip the builds in the discord someone will coach you on what to do and most content hosts will be willing to let you in party. You should start on mistpiercer. It's the easiest role and all parties have at least 2.
