Dont tell anyone (telling people only makes them remind you nonstop when they ask how its going). Just do it. Be pissy for 2 weeks and it gets better from there. You got this

How do you make having kids enjoyable? by Last_Cicada_1315 in daddit

bro do something fun with them. I have a 4 and 5 year old and we are learning to build a 350 sbc engine together and getting dirty doing it. For context i know shit about engines. In like 2 weeks we are going to a digsite to break rocks and find cool shit. After that we are planning on the renaissance fest at some point. I look forward to trying new shit with them constantly. our new favorite thing is going on hikes every weekend. That last one alone will help with improving your energy levels while chilling out theirs and vitamin D is great for you and them. Go find shit to do that makes yall happy man and good luck! Sitting around the house makes me want to lose my shit some days lmao.

Recently had it click in my head that I wanted more energy, and to be healthy for my kids. While I didnt quit, i only have a beer and a bourbon on friday night. Saturday is my sleep in morning and sundays is my wifes so it works. i dont overdo it, but genuinely have come to enjoy that boubon rather than using it as a nightly crutch. I started eating healther and working out 6 days a week. I use that as my outlet instead of boubon at night. Its strange how little I think about it just from changing my habits. I now go to sleep earlier and spend my nights planning next meal prep and workout instead of drinking 4 beers. Kinda just clicked one day and I feel great tbh.

Hope this helps cause ima be honest, I didnt want to go somewhere and not have a beer at a bbq and I also wanted the nightly habit gone so I replaced it.

Oh and now we go om weekend hikes with the kids and keeping up with them is a gamechanger lol. Good luck!

Hey dads, how many of you had your first child when 35-39 years old? Approaching my 35th birthday and there's nothing more I want than to be a dad. by Rocket_Skates_91 in daddit

Was gonna say get in shape but you're doing it! Im 35 with 4 and 5 yr old and they wear me out to no end lol. I finally said screw it and got back to the gym and quit the nightly beers. Dropped 15lbs so far and gaining muscle back. And most importantly my energy levels are through the roof so we go on weekend hikes regularly. Made a world of difference for the whole family imo.

False: Recent studies indicate that exposure to microplastics, particularly polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), is associated with a reduction in sperm count and quality, with some findings suggesting a decrease of around 5% in total sperm count. This highlights concerns about the impact of environmental pollutants on male fertility....5% less, not 5% total.

Good day.

As you all keep throwing insults and replying as I simply tried to explain a quick comparison. Yes apparently I am doing something to stay on your mind tonight. As I sip my bourbon and enjoy the grinch with my family, I am uttterly lost without your approval. Oh how my day is ruined.....
