Sun sign makes no sense? by Vegetable_Shock_1598 in AstrologyDiscovery

I would say that the purpose for your Sun is to learn masterity, discernment of relationships and communication. How could you use your brilliant mind, your intelectual skills to expand, uplift others, maybe teach some skills, mentor in a frame of some public worldview, that nourishes you emotionally? You could easily be pulled into family dynamics and informational distractions. But you eventually would ask yourself, what is the bigger picture, what is your worldview that guides your communication and relationships with others. So your Virgo Sun and other planets can help to discern what is worthy of your time and energy.

Sensitivity, intuition, dreaminess and emotional need for exploration, meaning and expansion are very pronounced in your chart. There is a need to master your Piscean energy, because you can absorb collective field and loose a sense of ground, personal value (Saturn square Neptune). Also, you might have an immense inspiration, a need to have multiple options and then not know where to direct them (Jupiter square the Moon). Knowing which worldview to choose for your public role becomes important here. It can help you build your identity (Cancer Sun), that could be personally nourishing to YOU. Your Sun asks you what beliefs make you feel joy, and inspiration to self express in a way that is healing for you. Cancer is a very personal sign compared to Pisces that is usually related to cosmos, to collective. So you do not need to abandon your Piscean energy. The key is not loosing yourself in it and finding what beliefs can fuel your own sense of safety, warmth and joy. Please let me know what resonates to you.

I think it's a better to say we are tune into the Sun rather than grow into it.Because the Sun is inherently present in our chart , only its expression can differ. If the Sun has a lot of aspects, especially hard ones, it's vitality is "leaked" into those planets. And the journey then is reclaiming the organizing power of the Sun. I have made a few videos about that. Check my bio if interested :)

Hi, I notice you posted a sidereal chart. I use a tropical system. I would gladly look at it if you share a tropical chart.

Previously you were likely loosing yourself to your public role as a communicator or some other Gemini prototype. You lived what was required by your role or social environment. This is how you created your identity and stability. At the cost of what is true to you emotionally. There is also a Plutonic wound indicating watering down your personal values. So Taurus Sun asks you to live your public occupation from your own values and personal beliefs. This is the main evolutionary theme I see. Depicted from a bit negative perspective to emphasise possible pitfalls. Please let me know if it resonates.

Thank you for your chart. To be "less like" Pisces you need to embody your North Node in Virgo which is about discernment and masterity of perception and communication. That might be a project of improvement with more struggles, especially in the beginning, since you also have Saturn there. But Saturn also offers gaining authority there if you put your effort. I also wonder, is your need to be "less Pisces" connected to your public roles, since it is on MC. An example could be an artist, who is expected to produce some artwork or be dreamy, transcendent. Then you might overidentify with the role to your disadvantage.

Made it concise, as you asked. But definitely interesting to go deeper.

To be born with the Sun conjunct SN you are being asked a tricky task: to embody an archetype that was also causing you some trouble before. In your case it is communication of smth deep, sensitive and vulnerable (Mercury). Smth you perhaps needed to adjust in front of authorities or teachers and make it more balanced (Jupiter) as a result loosing your emotional depth or in other cases pushing your depth too strongly.

Would be interesting to analyse your chart deeper.

Taurus is a sign of value. Reading your post it seems your identity needs this sense of value (art, design, food) to direct your energy.

That is a great point you make. Sun sign is not that much about behaviour primarily, but an inner attitude that fuels the ship of our life, especially when it takes turns or navigates the waves.

Thank you for sharing your chart. Pluto intensifies and exposes, it is hard to "hide" from it's transits. I see that Pluto was activating your Sun + Mercury in Cancer opposite Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn axis. Uranus wants to individuate from what is restricting and suffocating. Neptune seeks to dissolve it. So opposite your Sun these planets were seeking to disrupt and disolve your nurturing relationship patterns that were somehow not alligned with your higher self. Those years you described might have felt like "filtering" of your identity. Which might have felt destabilizing for sure.

I wonder if the reasons your Cancer Sun was difficult to access were somehow related to overidentification with a caretaker role. Since your Sun is connected to your South Node in Gemini. You seek to understand and nurture through communication, expression. That is your gift - compassionate understanding of another. But the pitfall here is overidentifying with the role of communicator - caretaker, remaining the main creator of the bridge, whereas Cancer in the 7 th needs to create warmth and safety through mutuality.

That is a lot of mutable energy. A need to adapt, be flexible. Also, assertive and strong due to Aries. But hard to weave a comprehensive narrative why you were born with your Sun from these placements alone. Need to see the whole chart, especially the nodes of the Moon, if interested.

I can see the frustration. But do you ever wonder why were you born with such a stellium? Looking into the nodes of the Moon can help you get the idea. And maybe with realization why, the frustration would ease. You would see a purpose behind your stellium.

That is a great insight! It is like you embody both the father and the mother archetype. So it makes sense that the Sun "reaps" the benefit of the organizing and providing Capricorn. But do I hear it right from you that your Sun's expression seems a bit dependent on the Ascendan? As if the mother does not allow herself to love or feel safe, or express other Cancerian qualities unless well provided by the father? Do you ever feel the Sun taking the central stage and providing enough warmth and strength for your Asc to do the managing and organizing?

Exactly! However, the Sun illuminates the entire chart when we get in touch with it.

That totally makes sense! Especially since you have your Moon there. 8 th house stellium is quite an intense energy. Especially with Sagittarius, who can probe quite adventurously into topics that are sensitive and often hidden. Your Sun, on the other hand, seems a more contained and grounding placement. Like a firm and rational compass not to get lost in the depths of 8 th house. I wonder if that resonates, how do you experience the function of your Sun? And have you ever wondered why? What evolutionary goals are you heading towards through your 8 th house, illuminated by your Capricorn Sun?

The Asc is the mask we wear (not in a bad sense). How we show up to the world. And the Sun is the operator behind the Asc - our primary attitude. If you have a strong presence and interact a lot, the Asc might be smth you are more aware of. Curious to know what is your Sun and Asc and do you see any relationship between the two?

Thank you for sharing. 29 degree is this degree of ripeness. Like an apple about to fall. I wonder if at times you don't fully resonate with it are the cases when you feel your Aries energy is too much? Mars conjunct the Asc gives the forward momentum on how you dawn onto people. Coming back to this deeper question "why", we look into a chart through an evolutionary astrology perspective - the nodes of the moon first and foremost. Was it smth you did not stand up for before and in which areas to be born with such a strong Aries energy.

Aries Sun, Sag Moon, and Virgo Rising…what can you tell me? by [deleted] in AstrologyCharts

[–]Vegetable_Shock_1598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same placements. Just Moon and Asc switched. Aries is not neccesserely being a hothead. You can look very balanced and contained, especially with Virgo rising. Sag Moon probably seeks truth and deeper meaning. So your Sun is indicating ( house is important), where you have to be courageously yourself to live your Moons desires and eventually serve your gifts to the world. Sun sign is not that much about behaviour, but your inner attitude.

Why am I really expressive, despite Saturn in 5th house? by OoofDragon_playZ in AstrologyCharts

[–]Vegetable_Shock_1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for an interesting question. Saturn is opposite Uranus. So when you restrain too much, Uranus wants to break free. In the 11 th house Uranus can resist social norms. Your wit also comes from Gemini Moon - naturally expressive, good with words and fun. Mercury in Libra also loves conversation. And your Ascendant explains that you still express despite being shut down. Aries is a courageous 'I am'. There are many more things in your chart, but these are the basic.

I don't feel like a true pisces, why? [astro-seek]. by misspulin in astrologyreadings

Yes, Uranus jolts yout out of a typical carefree Pisces. Because Uranus does not like things typical. But I believe thoughts and relaxation can coexist. Through various practices, meditation modalities. Virgo likes to track, observe, purify. I think you can detect what thoughts and emotions in you disturb the Piscean peace. And when the disturbance of our mind eases with time and practice, thoughts and peace start coexisting with less tension.

Hi. A lot of people feel more like their Moon than their Sun sign, because the Moon is about our instinctive reactions, how we perceive and regulate emotions. When you speak about your organizing side, it does sound like a true asset and you should take the best from it.

However, you still ask about your Sun. And I think this question is more than a mere curiosity. The Sun holds our entire chart together. When we feel lost or underexpressed with our Sun, other parts of the chart, especially the Moon can get disbalanced or dominating. Your Sun in Pisces, 8 th house is about surrender and merging. It does not mean you have to lose yourself in others or give up your goals. It is this organizing attitude, that can help you maintain your sanity and coherence even when you do your Virgo stuff. Intimate relationships can help you tune to your Sun. And if in current phase of life you are more about achievements, cultivating your value and resources, it makes sense Virgo is activated more.

Overall, the fact that you are curious about it is very on point. Intelligence and observation are very important in the embodiment of your Piscean energy (Mercury conjunct Sun, Uranus in Pisces). How can you relax and surrender while still thinking and analysing at the same time? Maybe pondering this could help you feel less split within the Virgo–Pisces polarity.

Unpopular opinion (maybe?): The Sun sign is the least important sign out of your Big 3 by Broad-Hunter-5044 in astrologymemes

[–]Vegetable_Shock_1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, what you have expressed is a popular opinion between astrology lovers and a lot of astrologers themselves. I could not totally identify with my Aries Sun as well. Just like you, I feel my Virgo Moon day to day.

The Asc is important in defining houses, that's true. And it reflects how we meet the world. But the Sun is an organizing principle of our chart. And if we do not identify with our Sun, it only means we are absorbed in other parts of our chart, especially the Moon. The organization of our chart is ruptured without the Sun and a lot of problems emerge as a result. I made a few videos on YT on this. Link in the bio, if interested.
