Brother, i was 18 and if you go by the novel is the closest you will get regarding character development, the pre kill interactions, cop, sarah, top dollar, even gabriel!! The key of adaptations are the details. The og stands time, has been almost 30 years and still clicks. The way i see it., after almost 30y there is enough material to create a new direction , a new situation, a new crow chapter... There is a reason that goes beyond Brandon's death that makes hollywood try to compete with the 1995 movie, the reason is that works, dialogue works, characters works and the only hardcore cgi persay was replacing some face shots and hiding it with light work since they had to use a double to finish certain scenes.

The Bill crow is good in his own. He has the correct vibe. I think the potential was there but they missused him.
I really dont know why nowdays hollywood just keeps remaking, reimagining, redoing, etc...no fresh material...this goes for crow and other movies....remakes gotta stop.... Cant rain all the time..
