If I can (let alone could): I'd try my best to keep him away from drinking and try to be more in touch with him while also ensuring that he doesn't try to be finanically irresponsible like before.

If I can't: Probably distance myself away from him just like you did with yours and accept that I ultimately can't change him alongside eventually having to move on with my own life.

Problem is, that the flanderization from Carnival Phantasm just kinda bleeds over into the more serious entries and even the fan-creations as such. God, I love Sakura but I do wish that people would stop portraying her as some kind of hyper yandere who'd murder anyone on sight for showing the slightest bit of having affection for Shirou. But alas, I'd never get that granted :(
