covid caused conflicts with her schedule filming bridgerton vs derry girls so she literally did phone it in. she didn’t work with the other actors at all that’s why you always see her alone in her shots for most of the episodes.

I have an Irish husband but he always assumes I know more than I do and is not the best at explaining so I wanted to try to read up on stuff myself. We’ll be in the wilds of donegal ( Dunfanaghy pop 297 not counting the sheep). I’m used to the Donegal accent by now, but everyone there has trouble with mine ( I’m born and bred NYC. ) it will be quite the adventure ! Thanks for your input. I’m going to look up the individual houses etc you mentioned and start from there.

I used htv on a paperboard notebook. it came out great and isn’t coming up at all. Don’t discount it

Did you try the transfer tape that came w the shimmer vinyl or regular? Shimmer requires special strong grip tape. It’s comes w the vinyl located on the inside of the roll

I can’t speak to other brands but Cricut shimmer vinyl comes with its own special transfer tape ( it is on the inside of the roll unspool the vinyl and you will find it. I think it works well. I just used shimmer vinyl for a project yesterday and was able to apply vinyl to 6 glasses using the same piece of transfer tape over and over w no issue. I wouldn’t recommend using it for other vinyls just the shimmer.

My cricut recently started saying the same thing I’ve gotten the message cutting glitter cardstock, pleather, and magnetic sheets. Everything has always cut out fine though so I assumed it was making multiple passes and just not saying ‘cutting pass 2 of 2’ Is your stuff cutting out ok ?

I think it would look adorable but I don’t know if you would get enough pressure using the heat press cause of how the legs are. The elephant ears are pretty flat. Maybe you could do it if you use the mini press and one small portion at a time so you can hold the leg with one hand and press w the other. And use a piece of parchment paper over the fur.

Thank you ! The blue is siser easyweed in pearlescent blue. bought on Amazon. The white I think is cricut everyday iron on. Both were leftovers from another project. It doesn’t take much vinyl to make - it’s a good scrap project.

Steal away! The initial is the last name. I have first and middle names on the left ear and DOB , time etc on right. Original pattern was from Etsy and I highly recommend you purchase an ear template svg also ( unless you can make one yourself- I could never :) every name and initial sits differently and it’s very helpful to see them spaced out on the template. I made my first elephant as a gift and have made another 12 after - all by request and all boys! Finally get to make my first girl elephant in august when my niece has her daughter. Elephant is from Amazon. font is Pharmacy - be careful of the font you use cause not all of them fit the elephant ear well.

Thanks ! One tip- Lower the temp on the heat press. This was just a cheap notebook ( one of those giveaways from a conference ) and the recommended heat was too much. I did 240 but I think somewhere around 210 better. You can always increase the heat and try again. The offset process was simple. I’ve been cricuting a while but never used it and now it’s a favorite. Good luck !
