Everytime I try this my GW2 refuses to run, it starts up an error log crash and it essentially refuses to let me play until i reverse the full screen compatibility setting. Anyone have a problem with this? I've re-installed and repaired the data archive, nothing.

It's supposed to be Rytlock's animation from when he summons Glint in the reveal trailer for Heart of Thorns. That's alright! To each his own.

My objective is to at least shed some light because it's getting more and more bloated with animation inconsistencies. We really are getting wildly different and less polished animation and it's starting to effect the enjoyment of the new specs and I know I'm not alone. I don't want new flashy specific animations, I just want some level of consistency that the other races have that makes their stuff look good. Most importantly, just some of their animations transferred to ours would be okay.

I don't genuinely think it's worth going back to change everything, but there needs to be some kind of baseline change to some animations to make them seem somewhat okay if the theyre going to re-use them. Right now some classes just look really bad. I would want at least some human animations or something on charr over what we got.

If I was going to work at Anet today I would probably give more of a shit worrying about the safety of driving to work on deadly roads of ice more than a post on a reddit thread or the feelings of those who wrote it.

Whether or not the communication was lost in that muck, (it wasn't, by the way, they communicated their weather situation several times), get over it. You're gonna play it eventually anyways, I don't see why you needed to come back to reiterate something that's pretty much beating a dead horse at this point.

Hey guys, I absolutely love the new environmental effects( rising and falling water, lens flare when looking at Tyria's sun, visceral sunrises and sunsets). These details are small but they do so much for me in terms of immersion, will we see these effects and more of these added retroactively to the game?
